At worst, Outrider have been contained in quite clinical fashion. Crucially, with YA sorted, there is no opportunity for a tag-teamonth job either.

The value in RHA is that the mine is set up, the infrastructure in place, with a well functioning mine plant - said before, remembering that by December 2017, we were exceeding throughput targets.

Many - like me - also believe that the mine was probably close to profitability by December 2017.

For the moment, let's just focus on getting RHA ownership sorted. On this, it seems the company have been making the case more emphatically, especially around the implications for employment for local people (the Zimbabwean authorities have not done themselves any favours here, with mass unemployment across the country).

A turnaround is needed not least to put right the situation for so many holders here. Lots of good folk just not deserved this.

At the end of the day, and while we've been no where near it, making money is what counts. An incoming party, looking at RHA, is looking a 'functioning' mine (even if the grades were supposedly great), plant machinery and infrastructure in place (remembering that we were exceeding throughput targets at December 2017). We know there have been quite a number of site visits by a consortium of parties.

Blimey, if there relying in a discounted placing they better be worried as FRR have said they want not to rely on that route as far as is possible. Not helping shorters further that the YA repayment terns mean that whatever revenue we're generating right now can go further, not to mention that a deal with a Super Major may well arrive before we ever need one (in turn, such a deal would kill the need for any kind of placing).

If I were a shorter looking for that route as my get out of jail, I'd be worried!!

There is always potential for blind spots but FRR have moved very purposefully to ensure the obvious dangers have been negated. YA is sorted. Outrider contained. Leaving FRR to get on with the business of concluding the deals.

There remains but we've been derisking significantly along the way.

What SP we get depends on the specifics of the deal. Can only see 1p in a deal if a deal is smaller and tentative. But with a much more significant programme, a market cap between $500million and $1billion is not unrealistic (that's an SP between 3p and 6p).

If we end up with two Super Major deals, then looking easily at the upper end of that and perhaps more.

Let's remember that Zaza is in the ground, embedded in the process with both Super Majors (one potentially for oil and one the gas?), and knows what's being learned from the EWT and what's being discussed, and the extent to which these Super Majors are interested. He hasn't said that the 'golden age' is ahead of us that within three months we'd be in a different place for no good reason.

Excellent post Bluevista. Agree he was trying to give us as much indication as possible about how those Super Major discussions were going to go.

Sorry Dougal, yer blowing hot and cold. We already know we won't hear about the EWT until they are ready to tell us and that is because if the discussions talking place between FRR and the Super Majors. As far as I can tell, there's nothing clear about which ones coming first - EWT results or a one of the two deals.

Am opposed to shorting. I know the arguments in favour and some useful views put forward before but it really doesn't assist in any productive growth sense for me. In simple terms, share prices go up and down. Some clever clogs one day asked why can't I make money when it's also going down, why only up?! Like trying to make money out if thin air. Folks behind it all then rigged the thing even further...

Agreed ODR, and can't see the Super Major that said that walking away. Believe Zaza relayed that to give away the likelihood of the deal going ahead (you don't calculate those $300million savings and that $1billion+ addition to revenues, tell FRR, and then just walk away)...

The feedback we've had so far tells me that at least one of the Super Majors intends to stick around. And as others have said, it us possible that the recent 'news' has likely alerted other Super Majors to FRR and Block 12 (and can see why an NDA is in place).

Going to mention again, if a Super Major says they can reduce field development capex by $300million and increase revenues by over a $1billion, it suggests in the strongest terms they want a deal. We know the EWT is to now further explore things like reservoir dynamics. EWT providing opportunity for final tweaks before a deal is announced soon???
