Johnost, the thing is, PREM fights on. Many would've folded and gone the way of the Brontosaurus.

All respective parties are moving ahead with NewCo. This has been genuine progress. The offer of Government funds begins to point the way to what will happen here, the final outcome, benefiting RHA, NewCo and Us.

True, many false dawns here. No one can argue otherwise. But I'm seeing the offer of government funds as a serious offer - one that we could hear about sooner than some folks believe.

"Premier African Minerals Limited ("Premier" or the "Company") is pleased to report that the Company received a letter on the afternoon of 21 December 2018 from the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Enterprise Development ("Minister"). The Minister has asked for some further clarification on the history of Premier's involvement and the restructuring of RHA Tungsten Pvt Limited ("RHA") and includes a statement that the Zimbabwean Government is willing to inject funds required to resuscitate RHA."

Indeed mushty. Zimbabwe Government funding will re-rate this in an instant, finally moving RHA on and allowing NewCo to be expedited too (a plan for RHA making it easier to finalise NewCo)..

Ap has also bought another 5million shares -- if he issued 1billion new shares he would be immediately diluting those shares/that investment (not to mention his overall holding). Why would he bother to buy these at this time in the first place.

If he was going to issue those billion shares, he wouldn't be coughing up £15K to buy 5million shares at this moment in time.

Filing a defence mean you intend to fight the case. If that's on the basis of a weak defence then not a good idea, especially when you got the option of an out of court settlement.

Anyway, we'll know soon enough. ..

It's a bad move putting in a weak defence. Better no defence at all and settle out of court. Otherwise, the case is progressed formally to the next stage and losing will result in incurring all court costs and liability for the full claimed amount.

If you've only got a weak defence, then better just settle out of court.

In agreement with Azmy, not sure the point of that defeatist post. We have to let this run its course.

We just have to leave the company to get on with this and not unduly pressure them to find out what's going on or to resolve it earlier that would be necessary as that would play into the hands of those who seeks to bring us down.

Near 10p by end of month and 20p + on JDA (which could be any time this Q1.

Next up though will be to hear about agreement on the timetable (which will set us up for JDA perfectly).

Others may have a much better idea but would've thought filing a defence means the defendant intends to progress things to the next stage. This must surely have all sorts of implications, including a loss in the court case meaning they are liable for the full amount and court costs.

Much easier to settle 'Out of Court' unless Hope/ OMF feel they have a very solid case/defence. If they don't - and at this point we can't know - then they are potentially causing big problems for themselves by filing that defence.

I think think and believe that Hope/ OMF are likely to have behaved improperly. Most PIs would suspect that they may have done (real murky world, especially when you bring YA and shorters into the equation). If they have done something they shouldn't have and FRR have evidence, then this is a BIGGY.

Naturally, not having heard as yet about whether that defence has been filed leaves us to speculate all sorts. But from where I am, not hearing doesn't mean that a defence has been filed and that it's a good one. Suggested previously, not hearing right now may be because they are working on an Out of Court agreement/settlement, but not reached finality on that. If that were the case, can see why no RNS as yet.

Also, if a defence had been filed by Dec 28th, would we have heard by now about a possible date for the next hearing?

The 'delay' in reporting may be due to their being "...a fight on our hands."

Could equally be that this is now being worked OOC and so a defence hadn't been filed but until there is something concrete to tell us, it all remains 'in process'. From out end, it may appear uncertain and effectively binary, in reality it may be different.

On the matter of unscrupulous scrotii misidentifying you, you shouldn't have felt it at all necessary to reveal your own identity. Says scrotii are throwing mud however they can. The fact they tried to identify you says everything.

We may have an update Monday morning, if there is something concrete enough to say ---- though there letting us know if Hope/ OMF have filed a defence by the 28th is concrete enough --- unless they have agreed to go OOC but are still hammering out the terms.
