Here's a few things inexperienced investors do.

They discuss their investments with anybody

They take advice from anybody

They do no research on the company at all, merely relying on social media.

They sell 50% if a share doubles, then they are holding for free

Venture capital and serious investors accumulate more lf a rising share not less, its called compound capital growth.
