This morning, a major television channel CT1 announced that today is the last day to submit comments on lithium mining at Cinonec under the EIA.

This journalist is not the sharpest pencil in thebox. When I look at his other article, he wrote a lot of nonsense there. But this portal is otherwise trustworthy and readable. The positive thing is that people are becoming aware of the cost and benefits of the project.

Hi, process of extraction Li may look complicated but is possible and for me outlook is positive. Keep in mind that Cinovec name is from word "cin" = tin. And has long history :

Historical mining at Cínovec in the Ore Mountains has a tradition of over 600 years, with the first records of tin dating back to 1378. Silver was gradually mined here, and from the 19th century tungsten. The main activity took place at the "Starý závod" site, with mining at the Cínovec I and II mines ending in 1978 and 1990.

Funding from JTF:

Furthermore, the following conditions were defined in the RoPD:

• by the end of 2025, the EIA documentation (“large” EIA) will be prepared and submitted;

o lithium mining and conveyor routes;

o processing plant;

• by 30. 6. 2026, the environmental impact assessment of the project will be carried out with a binding positive opinion of the Ministry of the Environment;

• if the Applicant/Beneficiary does not obtain a positive opinion within the framework of the “large EIA”, he is obliged to

return all funds that he has drawn on within the project in the OPST;

• building permit – by the end of 2026;

• conditions resulting from the notification decision of the European Commission;

• mid-term evaluation meeting in the second half of 2026

o if the project does not proceed according to the set schedule (see overview table

below) and in particular if the essential conditions for obtaining the relevant project permits (including EIA) are not met, the applicant is obliged to return all spent financial resources

o if the applicant decides to terminate the project, the applicant is also obliged to return all spent financial resources

;

• if new key conditions for the implementation of the project arise from the JASPERS evaluation, they will be written into the RoPD;

• The condition for issuing a legal act is that the Applicant/Beneficiary agrees to finance the processing plant from its own or other sources;

• The processing plant will be built and its functional operation will begin by the end of 2029 (see project schedule below).

Ahoj LukasiK, yes very interesting story too. If you look at the chart its like EMH, same country and probably even worse management than EMH. Share dilution coming. DFS on the way who knows when and burning cash every Q until bankruptcy. I've been there since 2021, now with an 80% loss, the current level of the share price is interesting as many times before. All I can do is not lose hope... GL

I think we will hear important news only at the end of the year. A complex project that cannot be done without funding from the EU. And the EU has its own Timeline. As I said before, mining projects last 15 years. We have time until 2030. I am calm and buying more. Look here:

Yes, you're right, for example, my first investment here is from 2018 and I'm at the same price as years ago, but many things have changed and, as I already mentioned, a new mine (especially in Europe) from discovery, through permitting, to production typically takes about 15 years .

Yes, you are right, very positive news and I hope that the price will remain at these levels for some time, I want to buy more shares..

I am believer. EMH pull for the short end, who decide is CEZ. He and govenment can't afford a fail. In past months CEZ examined the offer of 3 companies for the construction of new nuclear units, in light of this the Cinovec project got smaller interrest. And really need recalculation. Discussion with local entities ran through, the change of the land plan is in progress. Grant from Czech gov. (i.e. fonds for CZ from EU) is reserved. This project can have happy end but a i have fear that somebode entitities want to put small shareholders out. They have time and money for this.

And i I wonder what the boys from EBRD are thinking ...??
