The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Yes, you're right, for example, my first investment here is from 2018 and I'm at the same price as years ago, but many things have changed and, as I already mentioned, a new mine (especially in Europe) from discovery, through permitting, to production typically takes about 15 years .
so we have time until 7 Dec 2030 ;-)
and who dont accept this should go play with shovel to sandpit.. GL
PR small talks... i recommend hold in may and go away
Yes, you are right, very positive news and I hope that the price will remain at these levels for some time, I want to buy more shares..
And todays czech press echo:

Sorry if mentioned before

I am believer. EMH pull for the short end, who decide is CEZ. He and govenment can't afford a fail. In past months CEZ examined the offer of 3 companies for the construction of new nuclear units, in light of this the Cinovec project got smaller interrest. And really need recalculation. Discussion with local entities ran through, the change of the land plan is in progress. Grant from Czech gov. (i.e. fonds for CZ from EU) is reserved. This project can have happy end but a i have fear that somebode entitities want to put small shareholders out. They have time and money for this.
And i I wonder what the boys from EBRD are thinking ...??
EMH still can mine TIN&TUNGSTEN ;-) so i bought small package for 0,15 to average down, nobody can bleed forever
And that's why lithium prices are at rock bottom ....
The report also notes that taking a new mine from discovery, through permitting, to production typically takes about 15 years.
so we have time to 7dec 2030 ;-)
Hi, i am not sure if Cinovec will be the mayor, Portugal is more further with all the projects regardles of political corruption..
local press: https://ustecky.denik.cz/zpravy_region/lithium-debata-ustecky-denik-hejtman-geomet-schiller.html
diskusions of authorities contuniues well..
Man from CEZ: " .. so that lithium is not just sold abroad. But to create a Gigafactory for the production of lithium batteries in the Czech Republic, ideally in Prunéřov. According to Štěpánek, after the retreat of Volkswagen, which backed away from the construction of a gigafactory in the Czech Republic, negotiations are being conducted with partners from Asia, and although nothing has been signed, a part of the Prunéřov power plant is already being cleaned to implement the plan. "But even if the Gigafactory won't be here, it's still a qualified product with significant added value that's worth it," says Štěpánek about lithium. " .. and i provide information that Prunerov will be clean at the end of year ( for those who don't know about Prunerov its dismantled coal-fired power plant fully owned by CEZ) GL
Everytime when i see Keith talking from the kitchen in Perth i have to laugh :) ..
majority owner report 3q results and with regards of economic situation in europe its still strong ( btw CEZ now decide about new nucleasr power plent ) so i think Cinovec project is well secured and and we will get all the money back with a good profit
@Skelly85, exactly CEZ own SDAS ( Severoceske Doly a.s. https://www.sdas.cz/ ) and SDAS own 51% of GEOMET, detail on:
https://or.justice.cz/ias/ui/rejstrik-firma.vysledky?subjektId=362777&typ=UPLNY
take look at the end where is by SDS
Vklad (deposit) : 335 913 000,- Kč
Scheise Katze, so how wil be value chain of EV in CzechR. implemented ? Time for Czech gov. to negotiate with LG chem. CEZ want his own smaller factory for batterries.. so nothing changed..
Lucky man, last month I added packages for the price of 41, 37 and today for 32 (after changing the purchase price from 31, where it stood all day) ..
BTW the head of VW is coming to Prague to talk with Czech prime minister about GF
I found something interesting, Germans from Zinwald Lithium send (other side from CInovec and translated) EIA to Czech Rep.

23:30 How long do you plan the mining for? - By mapping a large part of the deposit, we know that there are huge reserves. We consider that at the first moment the mining is estimated at 26 years. It's because those predictions are not made for a longer period of time because no one knows how the market will develop and so on. However, we have reserves in the Czech Republic for about 300 years with the current planned mining. - And are we still talking about the location under Cínovec? - Yes.
Another article-visualisation about gigafactory in Pilsen:

I remember summer two years back when the price was around 1 pound . i had happy hollidays and that day my drinks was much more better and my current vacation start today, i am full of hope ;)
I found an interesting year-old document from the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade (in Czech language) about the changes in the spatial plan of the DUKLA location where the LCP will be. It deals in detail with the supply of water, energy and the transportation of materials from the mining area. I'm sure BIG things are on the way.GL

i am optimist, it's going slowly but surely, little local news:
"The Czech Republic is close to acquiring the Volkswagen Group's new factory for battery cells, the construction of which would cost up to 120 billion crowns, making it one of the largest investments by foreign companies in the country. The Ministry of Industry and Trade believes that it will soon find an agreement on the parameters of the investment with a potential investor, the ministry said in a statement to the E15 newspaper after Minister Jozef Síkela met with Thomas Schäfer, who manages the main concern brand Volkswagen, on Wednesday."
