Probably irrelevant, but has any one else noticed that the price quoted no longer has a disclaimer tag stating that the price is only the latest available, rather than a current price?

This is looking interesting. Strong rise prior to the results: are the MMs really so cynical that they'd jack the price up to the results then drop it? Then again after the lows it's seen over the last 2-3 years, a huge sell off wouldn't be unexpected.

Who's selling? Probably all those people who bought in at 20p and 40p over the last five years. Wouldn't you?

Any sight of when the final results are due. I realise all's been ****-a-hoop due to Covid, but interims were June. Surely an announcement soon? Is that why MMs are dropping the price again?

Re Barryroe, it doesn't appear to have been acknowledged on this board, but APEC, the Chinese operators of the field were relieved of their responsibilities in February, and there hasn't been any further word of a replacement. I've no idea if this is related to the impairments SLE have suffered but it gives some insight. Worth noting that APEC's operators had carried out their responsibilities as charged, and the data they produced is still being processed.

Or just Air Partner traditionally being in the habit of not carrying debt getting rid of it. It would be interesting to find out what information was given to the institutional customers to convince them to buy into AIR. An 18% increase in the share allocation, effectively 18% drop in the value of the company, which the market apparently doesn't agree with. It would appear that the good times are rolling...

I've not any more detail, but it's listed in the general news. Paying off debt to bolster bottom line. Sounds good to me...

eoy results in May isn't it? Posted in the RNS. Not convinced we're going to see a full return to the peaks in the share price, bbut there is a great deal of cynicism in the MMs price setting. In my dreams, they're shaking the tree to get as much out of us investors as possible, before ramping the price up, but these dreams never come true, do they?

Nothing untoward going on here. Wizz Air aside, the airline sector is following the trend of IAG, and bombing. Fundamentals and trading are pretty sound. Brexit's tanking the UK sector, and there's still uncertainty over the US. Calling bottom just now is brave, and I'm not that brave (too bruised).

Okay, sorry if I'm being a bit thick here, but with NNPC repayments, Eroton refinancing, not to mention Sun Trust, I've lost track of the loan note with MLPL; this called for 17m every three months, latest due end of January. Has tis been swallowed up in all these transactions, or is it still (over)due?. Last receipt was 1st November. TIA.

Unfortunately, market makers don't allow the bodies to be cleared away; they prefer to hang them around the neck of the company, like an albatross. More positive movement before we see this cos worth in the share price.
