all very good, but we don't know what new shares are to be issued. That's the big one. We're little fish in this pond, the only plus side we've got is Toscafund. And they're best buddies with Oisin. Only time will tell.

I've had holdings in companies with buy back strategies before, and not once has it brought about a visible change in the share price. IMHO the share price is being dragged down by a the general aversion to that risk manifest in tech in general. It's going to take a change in the overall economic outlook before we see a real valuation reflected in the share price.

I'm guessing the urgent need to prop up the Chinese economy; still badly hit by Covid and influential parties urging the Chinese govt to intervene. We're forever in interesting times these days...

I was personally hoping completion would mean instant relisting; the above suggests not. Await further instructions. Sheesh!

It would always be nice, but we're pretty small fry here. I'm sure Tosca will be very up to speed on the goings on, but they're going to see a monumental impact (and effectively own the company anyway). At least we're into April, and in theory on the home straight. But I'm not holding my breath. I've seen geese shot out of the sky just as they looked to be about to lay the golden egg before 8-(

Majority of shareholders are funds; depends whether or not the ultimate holders want jam today or jam tomorrow. Global economy looks to be on the way down with the Ukraine situation, but it's already down, with encroaching interest rates damping any growth. Personally, I see a stagnation until everyone finds their feet, then growth, as was predicted. The American market is going to be more significant for AIR, and I do believe there's a far greater upside. I don't believe the BOD are being objective in their view, just reducing their own risk exposure (I don't see much more risk than has been seen over the last 2 years).

Sucks big style. This company has far more potential than what the offer implies. At least 50% more would have been considerable. 125p is derisory. BOD are running off like frightened rabbits. We're just starting to see growth in the USA, which itself would have (as always has been the case) contributed a massive amount to the company's performance.

Maybe just grin and bear it; possibly just tree shaking prior a resumption of buying...

In the results recently, the financial officer made the statement as follows:

"Going forwards, the Board will target dividend cover of 3.0 to 3.5 times earnings in a normal year, after adding back non-cash related exceptional items, such as amortisation of acquired intangibles."

Sorry to be a bit thick, but earnings per share were 9p; what earnings is he taking as a normal year? Non-Covid affected, which would be substantially more than 9p? Anyone got any insight? Most recently in 2018, 100% of earnings were paid out (https://www.fidelity.co.uk/factsheet-data/factsheet/GB00BD736828-air-partner/dividends). Any opinions welcome.

What's more likely is that the shares will languish for a few years, until the directors are obliged, legally or otherwise, to declare them worthless. That's years down the line, and the only way to get any value from them now. RTO would have been the only way to get round this, at least you would have been able to sell the shares and declare the loss. Cutting one's nose off to spite one's face is the phrase, I believe.
