UP, up and away? Still a long way off full momentum, but the market obviously believes something more's afoot. Bought more Friday morning. Hoping for a rerating for the biotech sector.

Hovering about the 200 day average; might be scaring buyers off. Or maybe all the big news was the recent resignations. Bearing in mind the biotech sector's still in the doldrums, we might be waiting for something big to power new gains.

Innocuous looking double bottom at 25th and 30th (126.4). Don't want to sound like a ramper, but that's long indicated the start of a significant rise. 200 day still falling from above, but 50 day rising (price is above today, marginally). 20 day falling, but price is again above it. Still chaotic, but looking promising. Looong term holder, by the way.

My intention was certainly not to insult you; the last thing I want to do is to kick off one of those interminable slagging matches that have typified tis board for so long. The TalkTalk reference appears with further research to be irrelevant, as TalkTalk was bought up by a separate entity created to run it. My initial understanding was that it was held in the same fund as SLE, not the case, hence my comments on TT are irrelevant. It does remain a fact that the fund in which SLE resides is still without a valuation (can't find the name of the fund as the article which referred to it is no behind a fire wall), and I can't find an historical values. Hopefully, Hughes hasn't written off his holding in SLE, as obviously, it will impact on the holdings of us minnows. If not written off, what is of major interest is what kind of return he's expecting after so many years, particularly if the financial solution involves the creation of more shares.

To think that Martin Hughes is in the same position as all the small shareholders is one of the most naive statements I've heard on this board. His Toscafund is a 75% shareholder and he has clients to answer to. No way is he a passive investor; in all likely hood he's in contact 7 days a week, driving proceedings. It's not been made public (to my knowledge) as to what deal he has with OF as regards ownership of SLE but as 75% owner he can legally replace him any time he wants. That he hasn't done so, is testament to his belief in Fanning, although SLE is held in the same fund as TalkTalk, which is a massive liability, even compared to SLE. It's unseen as to how much time Hughes spends hands on either of these entities, but I can't believe for a minute that he's totally passive.

Strong movement today, but the 200 day MA is still bearing down on the 50 day. Surely more psitive movement now, albeit with some volatility.

Rising above 50 day ma; good sign initself, but still well below 200 day, which is still falling. Looking positive.

Another good set of results, contraducting the pall hanging over the construction industry (in the UK anyway). Bought more recently, and have got a good return. I'm happy to sit on these. Only growth ahead.

The rise after the shutdown. It would be nice if it could carry on. The share price has been bumping along bottom for some time. Hopefully a support line.

Rolls through the Volution chat group, while the company itself goes from strength to strength. I really regret not buying even more of this company along the way. Now one of my biggest holdings. Onwards and upwards.

Acknowledging that we're very little fish in the SLE pond, it would be nice if they could deign to pass some information on progress on to us. I'm sure Tosca are quite intimate with procedings, but it would be nice if they came down off the mountain once in a while.

Someone on ADVFN reckons Panmure have stopped buying back, doesn't justify his statement though. Price had been recovering at endof day upuntil now, so you've got to wonder howmuch support was on offer. It Doesn't make sense to suddenly pull the rug away. Maybe some news in the offing? or maybe tjey reckon it'll start supporting itself?

Gold in itself has never been enough to sustain gfm. Company went the same way as all miners back 2010/11. The Chines government was previously a shareholder but sold out some time ago. We're up in the ether now, and geopolitics hasn't been such a strong player in many years. Not a time for rose tinted glasses.
