Looks like we're about see changed days here. Double bottom over march and April, price above 50 day, 10 and 20 still tight but rising, as is the 10 day. Still below 200 day, so bumpy ride ahead, but the financials are looking better. Downside is I'm holding from way back, so not inclined to invest further. Which may be a mistake.

The latter frightens me: "increase shareholder value", usually means share buybacks, which has never added to shareholder value. Listing on a non-London market has its attractions. Both South Africa and Australia are more attractive than London for mining operations, but I would worry that us little fish would would be marginalised (not that there are any corporate types on board: maybe a dividend would solve that).

what a wonder share this is. First thing in the morning a 3% rise; looking good. By mid-morning, it's gone negative. After lunchtime it's marginally up. Now it's zero change. Two trades all day. The first one, bringing the price up by 3% was for 5 shares. Total value £4.80. Second trade was for 2 shares, total value £1.86. Someone's really hedging their bets here.

My own motivation is not to create mischief, nor to cosy up to the numerous non-invested nay-sayers who appear to socialise on this board. I'm just pretty frustrated by what appears to be a light mounted on the back end of a train advancing through the tunnel in front of us. One day we'll emerge into the light. Hopefully before Christmas...

A week and a day until the end of the quarter. Has this recent cat fight put the kibosh on the deal, or are we actually going to emerge into the light? It's been so dark for so long, and I desperately need some good news. Last delay stated all would be done within the first quarter; another delay?

Problem we've got is there's no big hitter to push for a dividend. It's become a thing of legend that companies these days are owned by fund managers, which is not the case for GFM. There no names on board, so no-one to push for the payouts.

£12 was way before covid. SP had tanked by then. The market cap in Feb 2020 was as I quoted. Never been anywhere near £50b

So at 158p, market cap is £13.8b vs £12.5b pre-covid. What's changed (excluding Covid) to warrant supporting this? A massive boom in China's long haul? A Mega-Ukraine Dividend? Granted, we're sub-par defence-wise, but how much spending in military engines will putting that right? Time to be afraid again?

£7/share is Fantasy Island stuff. Highest share price on record is £10.94, when there were sub 2b shares in the issue, equating to a market cap of about 21bn. We've now got 8.37bn shares in the issue, giving a market cap of £58bn at £7. We're currently at £11bn, and still in recovery. Realistically, we'll still be seeing profit taking for some time, but with the share price well above the 200day (88p), we should still see growth in the price. "Investment grade" is the key, i.e. bringing the big funds onboard again, if they're not already there. That's what will drive the share price.

Statement was made "no shareholder payments will be made for 2022", but the intent to restore those payments was was also declared, with mo timescale. Perversely, instructions for the redemption of C shares were given, but I didn't notice any reference to the issuing them. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.

clearing 200 day average; seems to have been a number of buyers lurking in the shadows. looked worrying yesterday, as SP bounced off that 200 day. Downside is the market still doesn't know where it's going, so we can't assume a return to growth in SP.
