That's one heck of a long interview, but worth the read - I've saved and translated all 15 pages in a word doc but don't know if I'll be able to save to board at all in case anyone else wants to read it without having to do all the translation yourselves? Happy to share if I can. Gives so much background info into Zaza himself and I for one now am less inclined to believe we're being fleeced having read it all. The biggest impression I'm left with is that for FRR it's not all about a quick profit and turnaround - they're interested in proving to the countries they're investing in, that they've got energy supplies to keep their country going for years, not a quick 'get it out' approach. Granted, at this rate, they're certainly proving that idea! Keep smiling!
PSX - they're NOT back on Crest - share certificates are issued to the brokers instead of / because they're not being held by Crest anymore - as my earlier post shows the letter content from Jarvis states is clearly. My understanding is that as a broker, they receive one (for the whole lot the broker hold) or multiple certificates (for multiple investors like you and me) from the company (i.e. FRR) showing 'ownership' of said number of shares. This then proves to the broker that the shares are still valid (even though we cannot currently trade them as the company's delisted) and that IF / WHEN FRR re-list, they'll be in our accounts, ready to trade. If I've misunderstood that, or got it wrong in any way, then apologies and perhaps one of the more experienced posters can offer further advice on the subject. All I know, is I'm glad to have something acknowledging that the company is in fact still alive one way or another! GLA
Can confirm I've received a letter from Jarvis (x-o.co.uk) client services today saying:
Further to our letter of the 5th July 2019, we are writing to advise that we have now received a Certificate for the holding FRONTERA RESOURCES ORD USD0.00004 that was recently removed by Crest.
As such, the shares have now been put back to your account.
So at least that's something! :)
Am I reading too much into the wording here?!.... when I spoke with the Corporate Action Team at Jarvis last week about the fact that my shares were removed from my nominee account and were now showing in Transaction History as 'TAKEOVER', they told me it was because of the shares being delisted/defunct, BUT that Crest still held the shares on the registry - Sources' email today shows 'shares have been REMOVED FROM CREST.....' Question: IF a takeover is occurring, would shares have to be removed from the share registry as held/run by Crest in order to be transferred as part of the 'sale'? Hmmmm....
Arnie. Only in so much as they are an investment broker.
Have just spoken with Corporate Action Team at X-O.co.uk and apparently it's purely because Crest have now 'taken their stock of shares away from Jarvis' because it's delisted and classed as defunct! (harsh but true!) I suggested that perhaps the word TAKEOVER should be reconsidered and he offered the excuse that there's a problem with the Event Details info that the IT team are looking into at present. I was on hold for quite a long time while he found out this info and said they've no share certificate(s) as yet, and no knowledge of whether they'll be expecting to receive any either at the moment but will keep me informed if he finds anything else. Confirmed the shares would still be held on register by Crest though.
Clicking on the reference number at the end of the transaction history line opens a window with the following message!
We are currently updating the event details and they will be available online shortly.
More watching and waiting then........
Mine too!!! When they delisted, my ISA shares were moved across to my nominee account (x-o.co.uk rather than LSE but still owned/run by Jarvis), and I've gone into it now and they're not showing in my portfolio, but when I click on Transaction History, the 'type' is showing TAKEOVER. God I hope this means something positive!!!
Thanks mufcm - Interesting to look in after months and see all this chatter about Bowden, so I've just contacted him via email to see what he says. Already written off the £7400 I invested in MTV, so nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that! Here's hoping....!
It's also interesting the way they completely skip over any mention of what her duties will entail and quickly go on to explain about Mr Murphy's position in Turkey and his responsibilities. Looking more and more like they're letting as much out as they possibly can but daren't say too much too soon - or at least, I hope that's the case. Also, thanks to FSHG, I received my email and continue to totally support your group decisions. Thanks guys and GLA
Taffy52 - Just want to say thank you direct to you, not least of all for staying up to the ungodly hour you did to post the latest news. I (and many others, I'm sure) really appreciate the lengths you and certain other posters go to to help the rest of us keep up to date with this debacle. If/when this all ends and I no longer hold FRR shares, I shall certainly miss the camaraderie that so many of you provide. Fingers crossed we're not dead in the water yet. Cars and dogs and all that....! GLA
let's hope their working day goes well and some more news is forthcoming (preferably favourable news of course!) GLA
Thanks guys. Ianbeej - not that I need to oblige you, but he had it nearly every night for the last 5 weeks after I found out about the first one - online footage, photos, video in shower (ODR - he was!) etc etc as I felt maybe I was to blame (yeah right), then this weekend (day after my 50th birthday) I found out about the others and my daughters confessed they'd known. Great belated birthday pressie. As for revenge, I messaged his boss (we were all a close group of friends guys and their wives kind of thing), he'd not yet told any of them about what he was doing surprisingly enough, and let's just say I'm no wallflower and let him have it over and over again - he's sporting a lot of genital injuries and scratches to the face and neck so yes, he looks guilty as charged!!! (thanks - that's lifted my mood a bit actually!)
in especially as I've now found out my hubby has been having 2 online sex affairs for 2 and a half years and made both our daughters (who caught him in the act) keep his filthy secret for 2 years. I need these to come good so me and my beautiful girls can afford to live a better, happier future. Please Zaza, don't let me down, I'm begging you. :(
the Australian market will start absorbing the info tomorrow (our time) seeing as our RNS was midday-ish today? Trying to gauge whether this is likely to run tomorrow or even longer as still way down on old REM investment but don't want to miss out on recouping as many losses as I can.
Good interview but shame Andrew didn't ask GH what GGP will be aiming to do NEXT as far as their own drilling etc.
I wouldn't mind betting it will be Black Hills - just looking at and re-reading the info on the website it screams out, and especially as BH is 15km CLOSER to Telfer too. Maybe GGP will drill and start to prove up what's there, and Newcrest may want to consider further farm in / JV or even a buy out of the Paterson area IF BH drills prove really good too. So much to look forward to. Here are the BH finds so far to save newbies searching through ..... GLA!!
Multiple gold nuggets and gold pieces in bedrock discovered in first few days of field activities reveal the area is prospective with numerous indications of mineralisation in bedrock
Gossanous samples have been collected from outcrop and gold nuggets have been found within thin sand cover at the prospect
High-grade gold detected in rock chip samples
11 of 28 samples collected returned over 10g/t gold, best gold results include 81.7g/t, 45.7g/t, 37.6g/t
Strong surface gold mineralisation is present at the Saddle Reefs prospect
rock chips including 55.6g/t, 20.0g/t, 19.65g/t, 18.45g/t and 17.0g/t
Rock chip sample results from Saddle Reefs have established an 800 metre strike length of surface gold mineralization
Recent 3DIP survey outlined a large, virtually untested, buried target at Saddle Reefs over 1,000m of strike, which is coincident with high-grade gold mineralisation at surface
Signed.
Have just finished watching the first series of Billions and I have to say the idea of the SEC possibly ending up interested in Outrider/Hope/YA is soooooooooo tantalising! :)
A rather impressive number of holders and shares amassed so far :) GLA
