Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Shed - This link works on my imac but I have to click on the download arrow top right and it saves a copy to my music for me to listen to, no problem. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mdK267RpRjHS9FAtuCOfQyoXeRra-DhG/view
again... I honestly think his recording of the meeting has done a lot more to promote this opportunity than certain posters care to realise (or want to admit!). I was 100% happy listening to all that Zaza had to say, felt totally reassured and can't thank Pyro enough for taking the initiative. The next few weeks/months could see us get our endowment payout back and put us back on an even keel. In case any new peeps missed it - here it is - an hour or so of VERY informative discussion...https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mdK267RpRjHS9FAtuCOfQyoXeRra-DhG/view
8.75p for my guesstimate please! (or have I put the decimal too far to the left? I wish ;)
can someone please ask whether anyone from FRR will be attending the oil and gas investors event on the 12th Oct that we've heard about (GG attending I think?!) and if so, are they speaking or listening? Thanks as well for anyone who posts during/after tonight's meeting - really hoping for some good news as really need it. GLA
Thanks for posting these links Prod - really worthwhile watching - I watched the bits you earmarked, but also listened to Anya giving her report immediately after Steve in the 2nd link - gives such a good understanding of Russia's situation for those of us who are less knowledgeable, so thanks again. I remember when I first invested in FRR about 4 years ago, SN was under a very dark cloud and lacking fans, but is seems a lot of people may have misjudged the true importance of the work he was doing. Hopefully we'll all be reaping the rewards of our patience very soon.Gotta say it...Not Long Now! (fingers crossed) GLA
Fingers crossed! Great find Bugsy, and if memory serves me right - it was the GG facebook page that was publicising the Exxon and Repsol visits to discuss and observe Geology reports recently too, wasn't it?
but I've not seen the live trade volume being LESS than the LSE reported volume before, especially with the 15 min delay. Investing.com shows 92M traded, while LSE shows just under 104M - wonder how that works then?!
just been paid !!
Really good find Pindock, thanks. I don't remember having seen it posted before, and found it really interesting to read through. It also shows clearly that our block XII is closer to Shah Deniz as well, so I'm hoping that geographically that's a good thing too! After 4 years in this share I really hope we'll be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel soon and links like that help keep the spirits up whilst we wait for those elusive EWT Flowrates. GLA!
Yes you can TomE. I have 3 trading nominee accounts, but as Woody says, only 1 ISA. I made the mistake of following my father rather than doing my own research so have 3 nominees at different trade charges!! Halifax, x-o and lse (x-o and lse both run by Jarvis)
That picture led me to take a look at Antipa - a company holding license areas between BH and Telfer - looks like they're accelerating their efforts at some considerable pace too right now! (Feeling the threat from Greatland's pursuits perhaps?!) In case you want to take a look, at the competition...

it HAS all been about timing and secrecy. Georgia wants to join NATO - American Company (FRR) have 'found' the gas/oil aka energy in Georgia that could help supply EU countries very nicely thank you very much and now NATO (and Trump) are raising the issue of just how dangerous some EU Countries' reliance on Russia for energy is. (whilst Georgia's NATO application is still being assessed)..... Hmmmmmmmmmmm [Please let this be another piece of the giant puzzle falling into place] GLA
put simply, just how can 76,032,943 sells V 184,552,559 buys = -11.02%?!?!? Methinks someone's been inputting the figures incorrectly or is someone telly Porky Pies?!?! (Winking but sobbing emoji!) PLEASE let's have a better day tomorrow!
by saying "we're really excited and will try to get it started as soon as they can", so I guess that means that the September start date might not be set in stone, and if they can, they'll start earlier. I topped up earlier this morning at 1.86 so feel somewhat miffed at the market's reaction, but there are so many opportunities for further feedback and results from the other licenses as well, I can't help thinking it'll be worth it when we get there. Good Luck All!
Apologies if this has already been posted, but I found it interesting to look through the list of top co's - especially o&g, so thought some others might too. It passes the time if nothing else!! Have a great weekend all and Happy Fathers Day to those of you who are!! https://www.forbes.com/sites/clairepoole/2018/06/06/global-2000-oil-gas/#745baaa51d1b
His public post starts with the word Frontera!
if you click on Community (left hand side), one public post shows up from a Jeremy Whitehouse who is a Scot from Edinburgh who works for BP, and his public post is written in Georgian, and translates as follows : We are doing very well, in Georgia, I want them to wish you the best of their current drilling and discovery and I hope they are all of our gas. Interesting - could be another little snippet, or maybe not relevant at all - time will tell :)
FRR once again mentioned (very briefly) by Malcy in his latest blog out today following his meeting with the Block CEO on Monday. last paragraph ... It is clearly very early days for Block but Georgia is in my view a very good place to operate and as evidenced by Frontera has scope for substantial progress. In addition to the new shareholders Block has an established local operator on the shareholder list, the management has around 7% of the stock and they have a lively retail presence. It will be a long haul but worth keeping an eye on especially after the workovers and the move to West Rustavi.
Understand what you're saying Puddy, and very grateful for the find and infectious enthusiasm etc., but surely, if anything was going to 'shut down' that, it would be contacting YJ to tell them that it's been uncovered. Unless of course, any of the bosses read this bb (highly unlikely) and see all the chatter about it and go looking themselves to see which employee is posting photos. All in good time, hopefully not much longer for all of us.
It could be because Malcy has mentioned FRR at the bottom of his bit about Block Energy in his daily blog, which made me smile!! .... "Finally the arrival of another Georgian based company on the market can only be good news for Frontera Resources as it will surely highlight the huge potential in the country which up until now has been to a large extent missed by the market."
