Looking forward to hearing his thoughts and comments when he's able to. So chuffed I held through all the post-NM debacle. This is going to be my pension pot, so I'm more than happy to sit and wait and watch for that Maiden Resource to be produced. Have a great day one and all! :)
every time we get 1 step forward (mentally), we then seem to take another 2 back with the next bit of info our fabulous sleuths uncover - when oh when will it end?! One thing that I just refuse to accept though, is that SN or ZM would have gone into this with the idea of fleecing us - they have both spent years building their own, personal reputations as business men and men of important standing, including US/Georgian govt links - would they seriously look at chucking all that away for the sake of greed? SN is a fair bit older of course, but Zaza has still got years ahead of him to continue in the O&G markets - and would International SMs honestly consider associating with such behaviour??? I just can't allow myself to believe it and hope and pray that I'm proven right. Thanks again to all who sleuth, translate and decipher - I wouldn't be able to make head nor tail of half of these docs! GLAd when it's all over! ;)
To each and every poster who has sleuthed, shared and simply helped to keep spirits up during the last 12 months, which have been hell at times. Like Puddy, my faith waivers but my hope is eternal and I count myself lucky to be part of a group of shareholders who, on the whole, are way more supportive and civil than many of the other shares I’ve held. Merry Christmas, wherever in the world you are (wish I was enjoying the sun of my childhood years in Cape Town rather than wet Essex), and Goodwill to all of us for a very prosperous 2020! xx
by topping up another 1.3 mill to average down - fingers crossed WadAssistant's tip is correct - could do with some good share news in the lead up to Christmas cos 2019's been a terrible year for my portfolio so far! GLA
FWIW I reckon Arigarosa is an English person - don't reckon any Georgians would say 'right, let's try that again' or something to that effect - following his/her first ever post of the article link. Anyway, I can't help thinking that this demonstration outside the embassy might help things along and force some sort of definite news direct from the company. With everything going on behind the scenes with uncle Sam and the relationship with Georgia, I can't see it going unnoticed. I'm at the stage now where I'm still wishing like crazy that we'll come out of this with something, but at the same time, I've kind of written it off in my mind - just can't help feeling that just knowing what is/has happened would at least be something. Fingers crossed! GLA
That the RNS still isn't showing on LSE so thanks for posting the other links - another great RNS, just a shame the market's so slow to appreciate and react. I'm struggling to keep up with just how many fantastic 'finds' we have now and exactly where they are - need to do a flipchart (showing my age) and hang it on the wall to help keep track of it all I think ;) Keep holding, this is my pension fund as far as I'm concerned, so not going anywhere for quite some time. GLA
I have my iSA here with LSE (Jarvis) and no complaints from me - no monthly fees and only £9.95 a trade too, so a few £s lower than my other half who's is with Halifax at £12.95 per transaction. Keeping nominee and ISA under same roof does have time transfer benefits, but I'd check fees etc first before deciding - you can do that all yourself, without paying an accountant ;) Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
I'm no good at sleuthing or map reading, but over on an aussie gold site that i'm invested in, someone has used the link i'm attaching to view an area and it seems they've gleaned some useful info as a result. Just wondering if any of our super sleuths may have any luck using this tool to take a look. It may be a complete waste of time, but thought i'd offer it just in case.... https://apps.sentinel-hub.com/eo-browser/?lat=41.56905&lng=45.04931&zoom=15&time=2019-10-08&preset=1_TRUE_COLOR&datasource=Sentinel-2%20L1C
I wish it was them getting shafted, or eaten by shark - that would've been even better! It's purely a gold edged card with a large rainbow pattern and happy, angelic looking lady - so none of the shorters as they'd be bl**dy miserable ;)
Back on the 19th July a work colleague (who knew nothing of my investments), offered to 'read my cards', so I asked 3 questions of the cards, the 3rd one being 'Any news on Georgia?'. This colleague had no idea what I meant by Georgia (girls name/country/US State) and proceeded to turn over 2 cards from the pack, which he sensed were important - the first said 'the situation will improve' and the 2nd said 'big happy changes'. I never mentioned it as I knew loads on here would just scoff or ridicule and I really wasn't sure what to make of it myself to be fair, but I've just looked at the pictures on those cards as I took photos of them on my phone, and blow me down, but the 1st one has pictures of DOLPHINS on it!!! Not sure whether to laugh or cry ! Have a good weekend one and all :)
- What is the name of the company in Georgia, which is developing these four fields in the interests of Frontera Resourses?
- Frontera Eastern Georgia.
- Frontera has more political weight than money. Why?
- Do you think there were no people in Georgia who wanted to stop us? There were such things too. One way or another, now it is being realized. Therefore, the fairy tale that someone wants to portray us as a company with problems is all part of the strategy. I can provide you with all ratings and reports.
Really hoping we'll be the ones to 'realise' - and soon!
That's one heck of a long interview, but worth the read - I've saved and translated all 15 pages in a word doc but don't know if I'll be able to save to board at all in case anyone else wants to read it without having to do all the translation yourselves? Happy to share if I can. Gives so much background info into Zaza himself and I for one now am less inclined to believe we're being fleeced having read it all. The biggest impression I'm left with is that for FRR it's not all about a quick profit and turnaround - they're interested in proving to the countries they're investing in, that they've got energy supplies to keep their country going for years, not a quick 'get it out' approach. Granted, at this rate, they're certainly proving that idea! Keep smiling!
PSX - they're NOT back on Crest - share certificates are issued to the brokers instead of / because they're not being held by Crest anymore - as my earlier post shows the letter content from Jarvis states is clearly. My understanding is that as a broker, they receive one (for the whole lot the broker hold) or multiple certificates (for multiple investors like you and me) from the company (i.e. FRR) showing 'ownership' of said number of shares. This then proves to the broker that the shares are still valid (even though we cannot currently trade them as the company's delisted) and that IF / WHEN FRR re-list, they'll be in our accounts, ready to trade. If I've misunderstood that, or got it wrong in any way, then apologies and perhaps one of the more experienced posters can offer further advice on the subject. All I know, is I'm glad to have something acknowledging that the company is in fact still alive one way or another! GLA
Can confirm I've received a letter from Jarvis (x-o.co.uk) client services today saying:
Further to our letter of the 5th July 2019, we are writing to advise that we have now received a Certificate for the holding FRONTERA RESOURCES ORD USD0.00004 that was recently removed by Crest.
As such, the shares have now been put back to your account.
So at least that's something! :)
