The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I only read the BB until Sat lunchtime - can you say anything about Investmentboy's findings? I've clicked on his username, but no posts since about 10.30 Sat, so I'm assuming it was within the posts that have been removed. If you can't, I understand. Kicking myself now for not looking in again yesterday!
Very interesting 'history' lesson having read both parts MadP - thanks for the links. Interesting to say the least that these have been listed on Georgia Today now - like you say, could Part III be the one that brings it up to date and finishes off the full oil 'n gas domination picture? I couldn't help but get drawn in to the history from (JJ Carter / Exxon) - Standard Oil (John D Rockefeller) and then leading down to J D Rockefeller V being a retired politician , although democratic, lead me to look at Jim Risch, Republican (big friend of Georgia as mentioned by Zaza on his facebook page recently) who coincidentally also has the initials JR - and both he and and Rockefeller have plenty of offspring with the initials JR (Jnr) too! Both politicians are also rather wealthy according to Wiki as it happens! It's probably all total coincidence, but it's at least given me something to look through for the last couple of hours! A good way to spend a wet, miserable afternoon! I left a facebook comment on Part II asking about Part III so I'll be intrigued to see if I get a reply from the writer. If nothing else, I've enjoyed learning a bit more background, so thanks again.
to the day - Paddy's praise so well deserved - his research, much appreciated by so many of us on here who've listened and watched since the Newmont disappointment all that time ago. Here's hoping that the market recognises what's been said and acts accordingly! Hoping for a Scally RNS very soon now! GLA :)
ODR1 - I hear what you're saying (re b20 and JrJnr), but let's face it - the only reason we feel ok about JJCarter now is because he's been proven to be right by court docs. IF and I know it's a big IF, the others turn out to be proven in time then I think we'll all (except the shorters etc), feel somewhat different about them too. :)
I may be just hair splitting, but JJ Carter said : by board AND by Steve - surely 'the board' is only Luis Giusti if he's mentioned Steve separately? Or does this mean that some 'other' board is involved in this?! Time will tell..... GLA (really hoping that B20 and JrJnr turn out to be as well informed as JJC has been proved to be!) Fingers crossed
I truly hope so RR, I truly hope so. I've always loved jigsaw puzzles, but this seems like the 5000 pieced one that you get to the end only to find the last piece has been lost! GLA
Reading that, it does all sound very good - sorry if already mentioned, but does anyone on here have any idea how often the PPIB meet, so we can gauge how long until this is quote : 'on the agenda'? My thinking being that that may give us a better idea of when to expect (?!) the LOI announcement we're all waiting for.
with facebook contact, but I have emailed FRR a few times, to no avail of course. I feel the frustration like everyone else, but then my logical side kicks in and I just think that nothing any of us do or say is going to make a blind bit of difference to any outcome, response or communication from the company or Zaza or Steve. As such, I'm resigned to the fact that we just have to carry on being patient for however long it takes for ANY news whatsoever regarding the final fate of the company to come our way. Deep breaths help keep the frustration at a level that's bearable, having 'lost' £21K in this share. GLA
of GGP a couple of years ago - things haven't always been shiny and golden over there! I recently sold my nominee GGP shares as was approaching CGT level, and decided to put £3k back into GGP in my ISA, and £10K here at 2.2p (also in ISA) - hmmmmmm!!! Thing is, I now have just over 3x as many Rock shares as my GGP holding and I keep telling myself that IF Rock goes a similar route to that of GGP, then I'll have no regrets whatsoever - it's all about being patient, doing your own research (have to say, GGP board members are fabulous for research sharing), and I have a really good feeling about being here right now, while the price is low - here's hoping for a second strike of lightning! GLA
How would we possibly benefit when the shares are no longer showing in our accounts? Mine 'disappeared' ages ago!
then things could start moving I guess - in what direction though, is anyone's guess!! No change to the Co directors on the website as yet, but that's no surprise anyway. I wish I could just shut off from ever thinking about FRR again - but the teeniest part of me still lives in hope... Have a good weekend all :)
Indeed Arsenal221 - Whilst I was reading it, I was thinking - "it's interesting how often he uses mentions the importance of truth", so I hope for his sake (and all ours) that that's what we're hearing from him and this is still part of his plan to make all those invested in FRR feel the journey and all the stress has been worth it in the end, whenever that might be! GLA
Kenco - Whilst we wait for FRR to come good, (!), may I suggest that you might want to take a look at many tears rescue dot com (all one word) who are a fabulous rehoming charity based in Wales but with foster families all over the country? I'm on my 15th dog in my lifetime, many of whom have been rescues, and he, as well as his 'sister' were both rehomed from Many Tears as pups (8 weeks and 17 weeks), and at a fraction of the cost of £3k that's for sure. They may not have what you want right now, but I'd certainly recommend taking a look now and then as they get pups/dogs in all the time. Be warned - they're called many tears for a reason! ;)
So that's 2 warrant RNS's now received, both relating to the 1p shares/warrants from the October 2019 placing - which were valid for 3 years from date of issue according to the RNS at the time. We only closed at 2p or above for 1 day since then (most recent spike), so the company won't have written to them with the 14 days' notice that would be triggered by 5 or more consecutive days' above 2p, so it just makes me wonder why they're choosing to exercise them now - just as we're waiting for 3 'delayed' assay results?! Just musing! (and hoping of course that they know something more than we do!) GLA
Does the following paragraph relate to the shallow drill results we've been expecting any day now, or does the time implied relate to the deeper drilling that's anticipated to take place ?
"Our diamond drilling program continues at the anticipated pace and budgeted rate. Drilling conditions are very good and core recovery is excellent. I will stress that there is a time-consuming process of core orientation, geotechnical and geological logging, core photography, sample interval selection, cutting and sampling to go through even before the samples are sent to the laboratory. In this light, it will still be at least 2 weeks until the first drill hole is sent to the laboratory and then a further 2-3 weeks before results are received."
All sounds positive, especially as my ave is only 1p but it's just this one thing that's got me wondering.....
At last! It matters not whether Zaza INTENDS to release it or not as far as I'm concerned - to me what's really important is that he's finally giving some explanation as to why he hasn't released it so far - I kept wondering why they don't just 'open up' a bit more and let the public (or whoever reads/listens to these statements and interviews) know a bit more of the why's and when's - makes it so much easier for all to understand why things might not be quite as straightforward as you might expect. Especially the public (voters) who don't partake in higher level business practices and only see things in black and white. This could get even more interesting now. Still keeping my fingers crossed, that's for sure!!
