Hello DC,
I almost reported your post!
My brother was a union rep for many years, as well as being a magistrate and one of the most level- headed and evidence-led people that I have ever met. Using the term 'union rep' as a form of insult is pure prejudice in my view and ranks up there with all other forms of prejudice as being unacceptable.
Having said that I did get a 500K top up earlier this morning and agree that it is only a matter of time before the true value of our assets begins to be reflected in the SP.
One of the most interesting parts of the interview for me was at the very end - several more essays already received and the Geo team just needs to complete protocol tests on them before releasing them to the market ' could be that another massive RNS is on it's way before the Christmas shut down?
The best RNS we have had in...forever - so must certainly warrant a podcast from a very excited CB?
"The mineralisation and wide intervals of alteration intersected in these two holes at the Ascot prospect display very similar characteristics to that observed at the Racecourse Inferred Mineral Resource and the company intends to model the structural information available in these holes to define the potential strike continuity of the Ascot prospect in follow-up drilling."
Yes, and open at depth in both directions - so could be much bigger still...Wow!
So, double the asset - double the SP?
I get the feeling that this RNS has caught the market totally off guard - could be very interesting leading into the weekend...
Difficult to imagine a better RNS at this stage of the game - looks like two Racecourses after all...
"as well as 1,233,000 shares ("Consultant Fee Shares") issued at an issue price of 2.68p per share, to a consultant of the Company in relation to fees amounting to £22,030."
I make 1,233,000 shares at 2.68p each to be £33,044 - so has the consultant been paid exactly 50% too much, or does somebody in the finance department not know how to use a calculator?
For the sake of clarity, this was a reply to the 20.09 post...
If what you say is unfortunately true, then perhaps we can look forward to an Ella 11 rising out of the golden ashes?
Trading volume beginning to increase here - can it be all down to the Sunday Roast exposure, or is there an update RNS on its way?
I think that 6p is a long-standing psychological barrier from the days when XTR was considered to be a one-trip pony with only Manica attracting attention.
However, nowadays just Eureka justifies the current SP and Bushranger is yet to be factored in
I guess it will take a little more time for long term holders to truly believe In the prospect of double figures here, but that shouldn't be a problem for those that have come on board more recently as they do not have the same amount of baggage as the rest of us.
Dare I say double figures by Christmas? I would dearly love to do so, but somehow just can't bring myself to do it - maybe I need a bit more persuasion - just like a lot of others that have been here for a while?
The question was asked at the AGM and we were told that there are so many deals going on in the background that the company is almost never out of a closed period, making Directors dealing very difficult.
Of course, following all the recent hype and talk about 500M tonnes of mineralised rock in the expanded open pit area, this will now have become the minimum expectation from the market so anything less than this will be seen as a negative.
However, if the next update to the 3D model indicates that there is more than 500M tonnes then that will be seen as a positive, so a lot is riding on this next update...
I agree, Steve and Lucky. I listened again and 7.30 min in confirms you are both correct.
Many thanks.
Did I hear correctly - This is a $700,000,000 system?
Another good performance from CB.
Either he is the biggest con man on AIM or we are sitting on an absolute fortune.
I know which side I come down on...
It would be good to get a few more assay results so that the 3D model can be sufficiently updated so as to make it sufficiently meaningful to merit publication.
When I spoke to Colin at the AGM he told me that once the bottleneck has been cleared we should be getting results almost every other day. So not so long, now, before the assay floodgates are opened?
I agree with Lucky.
Colin has been remarkably consistent with his explanation of the bid protocol agreed with AA.
As lucky said, it is up to XTR to either declare 2MT+ of contained copper, (or to declare a decision to mine- Colin has repeatedly stated that these two declarations will be concurrent). XTR will start the process by telling AA what XTR wants for the licence. If XTR asks for 500M and AA offer only 300M then it will go to an independent valuation. If the independent valuation comes in over 400M then AA will pay for the valuation and if it comes in below 400M then XTR will pick up the bill. This is an incentive for both parties to come up with realistic independent valuations.
In the final analysis neither party is forced to accept any of the valuations- so the whole process could ultimately be abortive, which would be a massive waste of time for both companies so I guess that is where CB's and AA's negotiating skills will play their part...
