Who the heck are the other shareholders in the affiliate? The Indians and the Chinese, possibly? Their concessions expire at the end of 2026 as I recall (or is it 2027; can't remember) so maybe the whole shooting match is up for restructuring. If not them, who? Glenn Miller and Lord Lucan?

An affiliate of Savannah, not a subsidiary apparently, has signed what appears to be an MoU (an agreement to agree).

Who is the "another company" here? Nilepet? A third party? The tiddler Wildcat?

There's a sense, at least, in the RNS that the Company is under some pressure to start explaining progress.

I think we're some months from an outcome, though.

I hope for news on the CPF and Stubb Creek CIPEC as the next RNS, i.e. before the next SS update. I know many are hoping for a meaningful update on Niger oil, but, sadly, the 31 December 2021 PowerPoint and progress since then tells you what's going on, I believe.

The basket price isn't doing too much. The cash pile is going to be eaten into by the chrome project (which I don't believe to be massively attractive, tbh). This is South Africa. A wage negotiation round may not be too far away.

I'm not a buyer at 42 pence. The fundamentals simply don't support it.

On a positive note, the much-exaggerated death of ICE vehicles is a tailwind. Another buying opportunity is quite likely to arise with Sylvania. But not yet (as Kate Bush once sang).

The twitter posts are annoying for us since they obviously don't address shareholders' key issues.

I may be wrong, but I don't think these posts are directed at us. They're for the development agencies with whom Savannah is trying to build relationships and (perhaps) also for decision-makers in the countries where the company is trying to progress on both hydrocarbons and "renewables" (a ridiculous misnomer, thus the quotation marks).

I think that trading may still be suspended when the ICC makes its pronouncement on Chad towards the end of next year.

While I'm here, I note that it's now only five weeks to year-end, by which time the Stubb Creek SIPEC acquisition was scheduled to be completed and the CPF scheduled to be commissioned. The company will need to give an operational update on these which I expect at be delivered at the same time as the inevitable further postponement of SS into H1 2025.
