@Dan, nope. You have to do your own research and check what other peoples view/opinions are, nobody can know everything. It's all about trying to see into the near future.

Just to let everyone know, I wasn't having a pop at anyone, but I remembered seeing the post about a bald assertion about 17p which I can no longer find and then doing a bit of research as a result. It's usually a good idea to check out what other people say just in case they've spotted something I haven't.

Just continuing, by way of example, the indicated "Net Asset Value PS 21.37p" for INDV does not reflect the current sp of 282p (https://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=financials&symbol=LSE:cpi)

@sharehead, well, that's debatable. I think somebody here posted that we'd be going to about 17p in the last week. I couldn't comprehend what he/she was harping on about until I saw that "Net Asset Value PS 17.60". So, in one respect, it can be said that we are overvalued, in another respect we are well undervalued given other measurements.

We're all tax slaves regardless of who governs. Governments tolerate us up to the point of retirement age, the tolerance flows from being a tax generating asset.

Time to let Russia have all the Ukraine it wants and to drop all those sanctions so that things can get back to normal.com

Kicking myself for missing out this morning. I saw it go low but I had to pop out, I need to pop out again and I don't like using my phone app as I feel that I have less control over it. Anyway, 22p later would be very nice for me.... I was hoping for a share buyback, really it's a total no-brainer at such low levels, it would be imho be a massive opportunity to undo the damage done to the sp over the years, it's in effect, the last piece in the puzzle to make things complete. However, it is no indicated why they would be buying back the shares, there is a pension fund which is I think in positive territory, so it could be for that or to keep in the treasury for the staff. For us, it would be better that the shares were bought and cancelled.

Compounded by thoughts of what Russia may do to Ukraine over the weekend. The shares that I want to tank a bit are refusing to do so.... I shall sit tight until Monday.

I was out and about for some of the day, so I missed any sycophants that may have popped round. I usually ignore the front door if I'm not expecting anybody, the wife feels obliged to open the door just like most people.

They always promise something. It's local elections here, let's see how low the turnout is tonight. I don't generally vote as I know better, none of them will halve my council tax....

UST & SPX sell-offs, most likely related to hike in interest rates by the Fed, and to some extent the UK, with others possibly to follow. But I don't go for that 'raise interest rates to control inflation', the world is a different place from 10 years ago, besides the only thing that keeps the Dollar up is it's current reserve currency status apart from which it's pretty much worthless.

IMHO same thing happened on the sp Jun 2020 - Nov 2020 and Mar 2021 to Aug 2021. But you can draw your own view on this.
