GPs get paid from public money, they get lots of money. My GP only allows me one 10 minute appointment and if I have a further health concern, I am told to book a further appointment. The only way I can get anything out of my GP is by calling 111 or whatever the number is and they get my GP to have a telephone appointment with me. The 111 people do a better job of diagnosing me than the GP and they also tell me what the GP should be prescribing, yet, more often than not the GP doesn't prescribe me anything. Patient records are now electronic, there shouldn't be any problem. Lawyers are the other belly-achers. Lawyers that get paid from public money are parasites and they keep pleading poverty, they get paid indecent amounts of money for doing the same thing day in day out, it's money for old rope, yet they milk that public money for all they can get.

Any companies debt/leverage/gearing shouldn't be more than half the companies assets. The underlying issue is not so much debt but profit.

p.s. Should analysts be raising their target sp's to reflect the rate of inflation at all?

My speculative theory just for fun. Barclays revision is troubling if based solely upon inflation. To go from 80 to 65 is about a 19% reduction. Whereas, they could have kept the 80p and said that money may be worth 19% less. Instead there is the double-whammy of 19% reduction of target sp and possible 19% devaluation of money equating to knocking off about 38% or about 30.5p from the 80p resulting in 49.5p near term. dyor.

Barclays had a near-term overweight 80p target before inflation became prominent, but for cpi, it seems that inflation is relatively a non-issue. The compant appears better placed than it was at the time of the Barclays 80p target. dyor.

@JG well to be fair, pretty much every day for a year now, the sp usually drops at around 3.30-3.45pm. I think it's just that it's Friday, which has been pretty much a wash-out for the sp for at least a year now. UK100 right now 18.5% up.

Yeah that's right, renewed for 5 years. If people don't cough-up for their telly licence, they'll sling 'em in the army and present them to Mr Putin.

I passed up on it for opportunities elsewhere. I'd rather have got the serco instead, but I missed out on it. Not worried for the most part, there are loads of decent opportunities out there and cpi is one of them imvhumbleo.

A 25.7+p finish would be nice today
