I think most eyes will be on RMG and industrial action next week. We've had the damage caused by the first round of union action today, even RR is at their mercy. We'll soon see whether we'll get hit by any contagion.

I don't know anybody that goes to the cinema in the sweltering summer heat. I also don't know of anybody that buys dvds anymore. It's all streamed content if you're willing to wait a bit and, if not, there's plenty to stream to divert the mind.

It's the Fed and BoE and imposition of usury. The liberal global economy is such that invho interest rate hikes by a handful of countries won't do very much. Will CPI ever get off the ground????

Mitie are doing a share buyback. Not a massive amount but there is also the divi of 1.4p. I like a share buyback, but I missed out on serco generally as I allowed myself to gravitate elsewhere.

Precisely. But they don't seem to emphasize it and their shares are plugged into the algorythmic trading systems.

What I'd like to see is an analysis of the effect of inflation on cpi, actually pretty much every company I have an interest in. In the markets, I think, that, companies exposed to inflation result in the 'markets' tarring many other companies not so much exposed to inflation with the same assumption.

There's not much else going on. The ECB news is not good and you should look at BoJo talking about people taking pay cuts or face stagflation. Monday may be a bit of a volatile day. Let's hope CPI can withstand it all.

IMHO, it's probably better to stick with 'IMHO' for the sake of clarity.
