Ocelot, There should be more going on here than waiting for Loxsley appeal. He has failed miserably at every hurdle, kept silent and rinsed and repeated at every raise while squandering away the previous one. That's a fact and I am an investor that won't take it lying down or bent over. We deserve better bang for our buck.

Well said, I will second that. My money is gone here. No need to put them in the bottom drawer. I will never see any tiny portion of it back as in at 2p for the Bahamas drill. Worthless now and they will raise again for some new plan when the dust settles.

Nothing at all has been achieved here for months and that's a fact. Turkey has turned out to be a farce so far. It will be a happier life for me if this ever gets back to 0.5p and I can finally put an end to this constant suffering and head for the exit??

Artificial Intelligence deal signed with OneThree Biotech



New treatments for infectious disease to be identified through analysis of human challenge trial data



24 February 2022 - Poolbeg Pharma (AIM: POLB, 'Poolbeg' or the 'Company') a clinical stage infectious disease pharmaceutical company with a capital light clinical model, has signed an agreement with OneThree Biotech, Inc . a biology-driven artificial intelligence ('AI') company, to identify new drug targets and treatments for Respiratory Syncytial Virus ('RSV').



Under the terms of the transaction and as aligned with Poolbeg's strategy, OneThree Biotech's state-of-the-art AI analysis tools will identify drug assets which target immune-response pathways, have a higher probability of clinical success and have the potential to prevent and / or treat infectious diseases. The analysis will prioritise drugs with existing Phase I safety data, reducing spend and risk, which can feed into Poolbeg's rapid, capital light clinical development strategy and its expanding pipeline of assets. The analysis is expected to commence in Q1 2022 with preliminary outputs from this work expected in H2 2022.

The company have produced a non GMP batch of POLB-001 and are not yet manufacturing a GMP batch but plan to for the trials in June. As per RNS
"In advance of the Phase Ib study commencing, the Company has completed the manufacturing of a non-GMP* batch of POLB 001 which is on hand for any non-clinical (not administered to humans) requirements, such as formulation. This is also an important step in validating the manufacturing process. On this basis, manufacturing can now be scaled up as required as the clinical development phase progresses. The Company will now move towards manufacturing GMP* grade POLB 001 material needed for the LPS challenge study and has similarly selected a vendor for this work."
It was their flagship asset and I believe that it should have been progressed sooner but I suppose Covid in its hieght slowed everything down.

Why is it taking so long to progreess POLB-001 in such a fast paced industry. Are we awaiting permission or approval of some sort. It all seems to be starting next June,why not now. Does it take that long for a batch of GMP drugs to be manufactured. I would have thought that they would have a batch in hand after purchasing the asset. Surely it was made up before.

We are being dropped like a stone here on tiny volume for no apparent reason. Poolbeg is doing everything to their promised timelines. I think if we were to receive any form of grant funding it would show the market a positive view of POLB in the industry. We will have to wait until the summer for POLB 001 profession. It is a pity that they went the lock in route with Orph shareholders. It is shown to have been a big hinderence to shareprice. It also added to quenching any liquidity in tha stock as 50% of the company was not tradeable

Jeremy didn't reap the rewards from the sale of his last business as he was not a shareholder. He may not like to dabble with his own money. We don't know anything of his personal means or is it any of our business. It may be simply a case of him not having the spare cash to make a purchase but he could put 10-20% of his monthly salary in a share purchase scheme to align himself with our suffering ?? I am a supporter of JS and believe that he is doing as promised here while hitting all the timelines in place.

I have no doubt that JS can start a share purchase scheme without breaking any rules of insider trading. The excuses are wearing a bit thin. He constantly claims that he is looking for ways to do it with the nomads and legal teams. Shareprice getting reduced for April 19th for their II buddies seems more likely to me.

The problem here is that there may be Isis lining up to pick up the flurry of sells in April after lockdown over. They are tricky customers that would like a reduced rate. They may be willing to stay the distance to reap the final rewards. I will average down if I see an oportunity then.

JS has done exactly what he said he would. POLB has a good team behind them to progress their assets. It will not be cash generative until we partner up with the large pharma. We will not be returning back to themarkets for cash it has been stated. We will be in a different place in the summer months. What I would think would move the shareprice is if we received some grant money from the USA which we were told previously that could possibly come our way. This would show the company in a positive and favoured light by experts in the field. I bought in here at a bit over 10p so I have paper loss but am in until I see a good return. Disappointed with the drop especially as we were touching on 13p before and seemed to be heading to 20p. POLB-001 trials should start pushing us along nicely. Our day will come.

Did we ever receive the American patent for the POLB 001. We were only given info on their positive feedback at the time. I think that it might give us the lift that we need here. CF promised recently that we would be in a different position in a month or two here and in Open Orphan.
