Jmax, perhaps the time to sell is when gold and silver reverses the trend which would mean raising of rates and ending of stimulus. For now, maybe just hold until whatever price it goes to. There is many fantastic reports to be had yet with gold and silver at these prices. Our financials haven't had time to catch up yet and H1 is just a very tiny taster. H2 will be big.

Frustrating that Silver up 5% and we don't move but silver drops 2% and we drop 2%. This should be £20 already.

What did I say this morning about quids in? Pattern repeats itself. Not here to gloat. Just to point out which I am sure some of you have noticed by now....

Deos, this share in my view is a punt because no one here as any visibility on when vaccine will come and when the next major debt covenant will be breached. This is burning cash fast and the longer the burns go on, the less valuable the company becomes. A very simplistic way to look at it is that if you company is worth £30b precovid. You then have to shut and burn £1b a month. A year later, you should be only worth £18b? That is assuming you don't have other negative factors affecting you like a higher cost, fewer ships, lower income etc.

The biggie of course is the dilution that will come when covenants have to be covered. They have raised a lot of money early but much of that has been burnt through so I expect them to come back to the market within the next 2 months. This time it will be much more painful because the SP and assets have fallen substantially. This is how companies work.

This is what I would call an arbitrage opportunity. Buy Fres if you dare and by days end, you will be quids and then sell. Caveat silver doesn't crash of course.

This is a hallmark of a not widely traded share where once the buying dries up, the price can be taken down step by step. The MMs must be laughing about how easy it is. Once they have stocked up, they will let it rise again.

finally my 1350p target hit and closed the trade. Jeez that has been a grind. Didn't expect that at all but not bad for a day's work.

Like some of you rightly pointed out, it doesn't go up in a straight line so I will keep my eye out for the next arbitrage opportunity. I would even consider shorting this if PM prices go down overnight. Even though I am massively bullish on this mid term.

POG, I reckon with cheap takeover, it will still be a premium over the current SP so there is no downside. Only way they get it on the cheap is to first wreck the company. Otherwise, they will have to make a general offer to all shareholders if they intend to take it private or try to merge it with another outfit but the characters involved are probably too diverse to do that.

Oh I also traded silver at £5 a point and very often, I will pick up 80-100p like this morning. I sold at 2650 silver but I always tell myself you can't pick up every last point. Since march, I have probably picked up over 1000p on those two items. Best run on trading ever I reckon.

Jmax, I am also in POG and in my opinion, there is far more value in that than FRES. The only reason why that is not 60p is the board room tussle. Once that is settled in a good way, I think it will fly. Worth holding couple of weeks to find out.

Jmax, I hold FRES in ISA and I don't trade those. I am currently only trading FRES using spreadbet at £10 a point. So for every 100p rise on FRES, I am up £1000 which is equivalent to investing £13500 currently in the shares. Spreadbet is a good way of trading but you do need to know what you are doing in using stops to limit your losses.

I often trade other shares or indices but at the moment, I found an arbitrage with FRES that works 80% of the time and I use some rudimentary TA to help. I am no TA guru but I am very well versed with principles of TA and how the market works.
Also, in a bull market, you very rarely lose. Just keep picking up points.

Finally getting a move one but still sluggish.....almost touching 1350

The revenue on this company has jumped from $2b a year to $3b at these PM prices even at the reduced production for 2020. The extra revenue will mean that profits would go from a $150m company to $1b a year profit company. Once Juanicipio kicks in next year, even bigger! I can see this turning a profit of $1.5b a year and all those resources still in the ground would be uprated by 30%! 1320p is an insult.

It does make you wonder. Silver has gone up almost 10% from yesterday and this has only moved 4%. I would have thought this would easily track the silver price increase and hit 1350 by now. Miners are meant to multiply the gains in gold and silver prices. This has got to explode upwards soon..... bit frustrated. seems some unseen forces seems to be pulling back the reins on FRES.

Eric, that Barenberg guy will list his analysis as an epic fail. However way you slice it, you can't get to that valuation. They just added $180m to their cash pile in H1. This HY, they will probably add another $4-500m to their cash pile topping $1b! This will be making $1b a year and just by forward PE ratio alone, this is a $15b company. You haven't included the resources valuation.

Gold and silver keeps setting new records as we speak but MMs seemed intent to keep suppressing this. From 1329 to 1312 in an instant. You cannot make it up.

They do take the pee with this being not widely traded. .... I did take advantage of that and took a cheeky buy at 1300p pre market. Lol. Just flabbergasted it is not 1350p yet. I am sure it will get there today if gold and silver doesn't deflate.

This is typical TA stuff. Once the $2000 lid is blown, it flies.... Same with silver, $24.50 is well and truely shattered along with $26. Looks like $30 next stop and no reason to stop there until $50. In TA terms, the fib level for gold is $2250! That is only 10% away so looks like it is attainable in the next 3 months if they keep printing, negative yield and China bashing. Each incident another leg up!

If this $1trn is passed, I think we would have the $2000 become a floor. If it doesn't, we will crashed through it. The next trn could see us at $2250 but dollar would need to be another 5-10% down. $1.45 to GBP.

Looking likely that congress passes another round of money printing. Big leg up to PM but shame it happened so late. If they stay up, then FRES should break 1300 easy tomorrow. It has happened so many times in the last couple of weeks that PM spiked after hours. Ruined my trades somewhat.

ferg. The difference is, if you go to a gym and catch it, you are told to self isolate. If you catch it on a cruise, you will be isolated on the boat (we have seen how deadly that could be) or in some far flung facilites. Insurance won't pay for it. Gov has told you not to go because they are not interested to repatriate. Who will pick up the tab not to mention treat you? CCL? Cruiser? There is already a lawsuit going on with princess and if anyone dies because they went ahead to cruise, then what will the fallout be? One case on a cruise and the whole thing comes crashing down. If cruising starts, not doubt there will be people foolish enough to do it and companies foolish enough to run it but one case and it is bang! Big financial consequences.
