If this can hit £1.50 on the prospect of making £1bn profit, they have a bad year and fall short of that by 10%, then I’m happy to buy shares for 80p and wait for a good year. Man maths.

Ocado going from £2.30 to £3 in 2 days shows how wrong the market can be.

Not sure where you’re getting that from Beo, by my calculations and the number held in treasury on the last RNS they have bought back approx 80,000,000 shares at an average of around 87p.

America is unproven and carries risk, even more so given the lack of stability there at the moment. Once (if) proven, expect many multiples.

There was an article about Trump sacking Powel soon that went out just before close which dropped everything - then he denied it and everything went back up. Will still probably sack him tomorrow 🤣.

No problems with this business, I know people always say it but I went into town at the weekend and all I saw was young people with JD bags everywhere. I sold a few in the 90s pending the tariff deadline, bought a few back today at 85p, now have a bit of pocket money for more top ups and some extra shares too… but the bulk stays in and whether it’s 50p or £1 my view doesn’t change on where this will be next year. This went from 70p to 90p in 8 days. Always say the biggest downside here is that it gets dragged down with stuff that’s overpriced even though this is too cheap but that’s an opportunity to make more ££ not cry about.

Won’t take too long for 86p to look a very good buy. You can’t always buy at the bottom and sell at the top.

Took a few more today at the low 85s.

30% EU tariff, no doubt resolved by August 1 but could cause a few headaches Monday morning.

I have finally had a reply from Roland. I had contacted him to express my gratitude for allowing me the opportunity to buy shares for 0.02p and sell them 2 months later for 0.03p and that I now have a new buy order for 0.017p.

As long as you held on the record and ex date you should get it within a few days if not already, the divi will be paid to the platform and passed on by them.

The biggest issue for JD is that the market is incorrectly at an all time high given economic and tariff uncertainty, and wars, and when the market rightly corrects, JD seems to get dragged down worse than others when in reality it’s probably one of the few big companies out there whose share price doesn’t deserve a downward correction. The only thing that will properly change that though is the financials as and when they come. If you believe, then you should be confident but that doesn’t mean there won’t be bad days and bad weeks along the way. IMO these are the sort of opportunities people should be looking for.
