Some big big buys going through this morning for MGC - everytime it has looked like going red it has been bought heavily - currently trading up 1.45p - lets see how it plays out in the afternoon session - I think maybe now fund managers are realising just how cheap this stock is - follow the money

"It's not just your M&S bread and butter customers either, she is seeing a lot of younger customers" - Toffee has hit the nail on the head there - Marks turnaround is and was all based around clothing especially Women's clothing - back in the 80's when I was a young lad all the kids went to Marks for their clothes - Marks took this for granted, took their eye off the ball and didn't move on in terms of their clothing offering, and became a place where young people did not want to shop - now they have reversed this and momentum is back with them - my ex wife works as a manager at a small marks food outlet just outside London, been doing it for over 20 years and she says she has never seen sales of food like it ever in her store, the food sales in preperation for Christmas are off the scale - momentum is a beutifiul thing when you have it and MKS has it right now - personally I think we will see MKS go higher on earnings in Jan - 3 quid plus is definitely on imo.

With future interest rate cuts now confirmed in the US - this is manna from heaven for MCG - Selling their american business into a bullish economy going forward - it doesn't get any better than that, I wonder, I just wonder if we may get a counterbid for the American business ???? - lets see

Decided to take a small position here today at 462.5p - I accept that the US is pumping oil for all it is worth atm and Brazil coming on stream in large quantities will add to the oil glut, but for me cheaper oil feeds through to further reduce inflation and enhances a quicker economic recovery worldwide which will in turn increase the oil price - I will add on further weakness

I said in my post here on the 30th Nov when the share was trading at 269p that it would go higher and it is around 10pct up so far - I see no reason why it can't go higher barring some macro economic disaster - funds will want to re allocate year end for future growth and RR. will be top of their shopping lists imo - I agree with the latest broker upgrades and personally I would be disappointed if we finished sub 3 quid year end - I am looking at 320p

Trent ultra fan 10pct more efficient than the rest - that in itself gives leverage in future negotiations with airlines as the fuel efficiency improves the bottom line for airlines - SMR'S are pretty much going to be full on world wide, following the Russian conflict no sane country wants to be reliant on external sources of power and RR. is a proven expert in this field - Turbo knows this full well - RR. goes higher from here - I have double bagged already and did not factor in a triple bag but I think it is on - gla dyor etc

The Swisscom interest in Vod Italy is just the start imo - with inflation dropping worldwide, interest rates will follow making it cheaper to raise money for takeovers - when companies are taken over the predator is ideally looking for a bottom fishing scenario with the economic headwinds turning positive - this scenario is playing out right now in front of your eyes - I added to my holding here this morning

Jansen pushed hard for the extension to tax relief to be made permanent along with other business leaders and Hunt has delivered - Jansen knows full well the benefit this will give to the bottom line - 122p will look daft in a few weeks time after the dust has settled here - I will be adding to my holding accordingly

According to the Marks financial website this goes ex dividend today so in theory the share price should fall by 1p - it is currently up 2p as I am typing - a sign of just how strong this share is right now - follow the money
