Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
*ad nauseam
Well, this year will have seen a lot of LTHs in the red, and BT's mistakes have been repeated as nauseum here, so there's no need for me to comment on that. As Bozi points out, there are plenty of places to day trade, and I would not advise anyone to play that game with this stock. Hopefully lessons have been learned, and honesty and competence prevail in 2023. BT has done well to secure the financing and his recent tweet signalled a KSZ JV is on the way. The signs are good, but it could be a long wait. Until then, Merry Christmas.
This share is going south for the winter. See you in the Spring.
Some strange buys and sells going on. Price doesn't move. How accurate is this website at reporting trades?
JP and FK have highlighted a very important point. The lack of corporate governance is an issue imo.
250k shares sold at this price. Ouch.
"Expected completion by early November" - if I recall correctly, BT said in an interview they were able to get the rig due to a pause in drilling for another company. Hopefully that other company is not in a rush to get it back.
Having now read the prospectus, I have several concerns, but won't post them here as I don't want to be accused of talking down the share. What I will say is this KCB campaign really needs to focus on making a discovery, not just another 'proof of concept.' If they do indeed prove this licence is an analogue to the Banana Zone, they need to press on and find a resource - which could take a lot of drilling. The money earmarked for drilling the KCB is a long way off 37,000m of RC/DD. Fingers crossed for all of us they get lucky over the next month.
And no reaction whatsoever. Has anyone read it? I'm about to now.
StockBox interview at 8pm tomorrow (Wednesday), followed by a Live Q&A at
8.15pm (GMT).

The timing of that tweet is hilarious. There will be people who read that and see it as a nudge nudge, wink wink to buy KAV.
I don't think you were overly optimistic about the likelihood of success for the KSZ drill Overtrader. BT hyped the hell out of it. However, BT has done well to get this money raised, even though the dilution kills any hope of this being a life-changing investment. Will be interesting to see who the high net worth individual is. Hopefully someone not connected to POW in any way.
Ah, thanks for the link FK. Hadn't heard of him before! A quick Google search shows BT was a director of New World Oil and Gas, which the aptly named Mr Oil invested in.
Hmmm? Chris Oil? Chris... oil? What are you trying to say? Have you shorted KAV?
Yes Overtrader, it seems strange timing when all the signals were this current drill is the best shot at finding something that will turn the price around. But I guess BT still doesn't really know what they have, so BT is hedging his bets to keep the company alive.
Well, if it's ramping, the market won't forgive a second time. I do feel the 20th October RNS was setting us up for a "proof of concept" success story, rather than actually finding mineralisation. But who knows, maybe they'll get lucky and strike the D'kar formation AND mineralisation. Judging by the surrounding licences, the prospects look pretty good.
Some great links shared here. That link Ella shared is very encouraging indeed. I've got a good feeling about this licence!
Can someone explain to me the history of POW's relationship with Kanye that entitles them to such a big slice of the pie? Did they finance it initially? Have they funded further exploration there? I'd like to know what their financial input has been vs the reward they're getting from the Kanye deal. Apologies if this has already been explained, maybe I've just missed it.
I haven't had chance to listen to the interview, but it's noteworthy to see Paul Johnson's name mentioned here. A fundamental problem for Kavango is that it appears BT and PJ are joined at the hip, or at the very least BT appears too enamoured by the POW business model (for my liking at least). Fingers crossed for this campaign however. There is a lot of promise, but I'm nervous about how the business is being run. Will try to listen to the interview tonight. Interested to hear all viewpoints here!
BT said towards the end of yesterday's Proactive video (YouTube) that if they hit anything spectacular, they'll announce it straight away.
