Share price has risen now Keith's back ;D
Haven't seen that one - did he delete it?
This is your creepy robot presenter alert! ^
Yes fbjr - the fact just a handful of buys have caused a 10% rise shows the massive potential for this share to take off if any of the current exploration leads pay off! I also anticipate buyers coming in once drilling starts if the price remains this attractive.
Good update, provides a lot more detail. Don't like the sound of the KSZ being spun out, but hopefully that would come after the new B target drilling programme. Glad to hear Ben has been spending time in Africa, and he acknowledges mistakes made. Having experienced consultants on board is a plus. Feeling very positive and I'm more inclined to stay invested and sit on my losses for the time being. Please get this KSZ drilling started by summer...
I agree we need a timescale. However, I can't help but be amused people are selling on today's news.
I don't see any negatives in today's announcement. B1 is what many of us have been waiting for. As long as there's no further dilution it's absolutely worth a punt on the B conductors at this price (in my opinion, DYOR, etc!).
Yes. Completely tone deaf. So who is going to the meeting today?
So, who's going?
FK, more red flags than the Soviet Union.
A reminder of the General Meeting (copied from the ADVFN forum). I'm unable to attend, but hopefully some of you will be able to:
"As with any Plc it is always a good idea to attend the General Meeting where you get to meet the directors face to face....
The General Meeting is to be held at the offices of the Company's Solicitors, Druces LLP, Salisbury House, London Wall, London EC2M 5PS at 2:30 p.m. on 28 February 2023.
Copies of the notice of the General Meeting and the form of proxy will be made available on the Company's website."
The wording of the RNS makes me question the quality of the team on the ground. Have KAV been using people on Work Experience?
"Mr. Catterall's interpretation of wider sedimentary geology in the KCB indicates that the D'Kar/Ngwako Pan contact lies closer to the surface on Kavango's four prospecting licences to the west of PL082 near the Namibian border. This has been supported by Kavango's initial examination of its CSAMT and Airborne Electromagnetic ("AEM") survey data. Kavango has now reclassified these licences as the top strategic priority for its KCB exploration programme."
BT seemed pretty confident this last drill target would hit the D'Kar/Ngwako Pan (Stockbox interview 25/01/23). I look forward to hearing how exactly the CSAMT is any more accurate near the Namibian border.
Ella10, the point you raise about Jeremy Brett is certainly worth discussion. The proof will be in the B1 pudding.
Anyone read it? Made me feel like a complete mug.
No Ella10. KeithOz sums it up.
Legalwolf, I think it's impossible to call the bottom on this right now. All it takes is one brave investor, and the price will leap up. However, it could just as easily keep falling with no near-term prospect of a discovery.
Good post JohnM78. If this campaign gets pitched as a successful validation of CSAMT, will it be enough to bring about a notable rise in the SP? Existing holders might top up, but I can't see it attracting new PIs. There doesn't appear to be any direction to the company, other than keeping it ticking over. Maybe that in itself is the goal.
The Year of the Carrot
KeithOz has called it exactly as I see it. He probably speaks for many LTHs.
