It looks to me like ENRG Elements had to sell, and fast. Perhaps they weren't in a position to negotiate.
So, is the Purebond deal happening or not? When's the vote? Anyone? Anyone?
Someone posted on ADVFN forum: "They admitted rejecting these tenements 3 years ago, doing a 180 on that after the failure in Botswana is sheer desperation." Is this true? Is this something BT said in the interview? If so, I didn't pick up on it.
I wonder what the criteria is for moving to a double shift?
Where are they?
Done. I've downloaded a copy Ella10. I wanted to do it on a quiet day when I could reflect and not allow myself to be influenced by spin.
Further to FKs response to Stan, it is very easy to vote online via HL, and the cut-off date for voting is the 2nd June. When you log into your account, "View shareholder meetings" is clearly displayed on the right hand side under "Messages." I'm having a final read through the documents over breakfast, and submitting my votes this morning. All the best.
Bringing the date of the AGM forward, presumably to ensure it is held before drilling gets to a significant depth, has annoyed me as much as anything from these past two weeks. It feels like it's all a game. Yes Legal, I do think BT should explain the deal, but more importantly, the timing. I'm not against a £6 million of funding in principle, but it seems obvious it is being pushed through before the drill core comes up from B1.
8th June. Around the time the B1 drilling will have commenced. It's like a game of chess.
For reference, last year the AGM was on the 8th July. 2021 it was 24th June. 2020 it was 23rd July.
Doesn't seem to be any interest in KAV out there beyond existing shareholders. Presumably it was existing holders who caused the SP rise yesterday. Do people think new buyers will be tempted once the KSZ drill campaign gets underway? Could the Zimbabwe project be the catalyst? Ditau? Or ... are the unanswered questions (posed by FK at the start of this thread) too much of a dark cloud?
Overtrader, have you been in contact with him? When he said it's all up to us, was he talking about the deal, or the SP?
Anyone follow the KAV hashtag on Twitter? A user called AlbyTross has a few tweets about KAV, not sure what they are alluding to. Same poster asked the question "Have Purebond been given access to any data that has not been communicated to shareholders? For example drill data, XRF or assays across the regions KAV are exploring. Data that KAV have access to but hasn't been communicated to shareholders." BT has responded.
What's that link about fulmar? It's behind a paywall.
The £6(000,000) investment could have been something I would have seen as a massive vote of confidence in our existing licences. It would have got me excited about the ever-looming KSZ drilling, but coupled with this news about Zimbabwe it's a horrible joke. The political situation and mining practices there are a million miles away from Botswana. I wouldn't have invested in this "Botswana focused company" had it been Zimbabwe focused. If we're sitting on such exciting leads, use that investment to explore what we have. Questions also still need to be answered about the 100k bonus and the £500k shares that were subscribed for. Who's interests are being served here?
I agree Legalwolf. In fact, I can't see why anyone would buy, even at this bargain price, with such huge question marks hanging over the company. The optics of BT's bonus are terrible! And then looking for a Q2 placing?! However, I agree with JP that there is so much potential here, and that's why I'm still holding (at a substantial loss). The needle-in-a-haystack approach has got to change, drilling the odd hole in a licence here and there. If KAV are to make a discovery they need to commit to a course of action. Show me you believe in the KSZ. I've given BT the benefit of the doubt many times, but if I see further demonstration that loyal shareholders are not valued, I will have to accept I made a massive mistake putting my trust in this company.
Ditto damonhill. Some big sells off the back of this update! Well, they would have been big sells 15 months ago...
"Our plan now is to complete further surface work at Ditau, while drilling is conducted in the KSZ and, once this is complete, to mobilise the rig to Ditau just as we did previously. We have proven we can deliver this exploration plan operationally, thanks to our efforts in 2022."
This is news isn't it? Pretty sure BT has said in recent interviews they were waiting for assay results from Ditau before deciding on which to drill first.
Surely drilling B1 asap to make a discovery?! "which we are now modelling at a 28,700 Siemens
conductance. We believe this is compellingly into the range of potential massive sulphides." Let's go!
Thanks for the heads-up about Molopo guys. I've just read KeithOz's comment on the POW thread, which appears to be a nod and a wink to KAV holders. Agree with Metalhead25, without knowing the all the data, we really can't compare the two projects.
Agree JP2000. I'm getting deja vu. I sincerely hope there's something they're holding back from the public domain. It gives me the feeling they don't believe in the KSZ and are hoping to buy more time.
If this company is serious about making a discovery, it now needs to do a LOT of drilling at Ditau and the KSZ. Show us you believe in what you have and want to make a discovery. No more empire-building.
