i think he believes he has a strong case for odx - whether he is heavily invested or trying to promote for a reason I am not sure?
I don't think he is convincing many of the old guard just yet -

however it is refreshing that the share is being discussed on this BB rather than just the all too often attacks and stalking of posters

option B is still on the cards pending feasibility study, in fact ODX could have both a self-test and professional test for the US market if the feasibility study comes back positive.

they talked of this feasibility study on 25/11/21. that is over 2 months ago
my guess is that it will be forgotten about. Waiting two months to decide if you have enough cash is not going to speed up approvals. when would they decide? how long would it then take for a fresh application to be processed.

personally i do not think they have the cash - and also know it would cause more headaches for them in terms of selling .

they should have raised the cash last feb and put the application in then. then maybe they would be selling them now....

for pro use of lft? really ? how many of pro LFT tests have you had carried out on you in the last two years?

personally I have done plenty of self test lft and no pro tests
any pro use tests have been PCR

marik - your twitter just repeats the posts you made last night and does not address the evidence as to why the gov will not have to pay

Marik - in my opinion the FDA is a dead duck. firstly the strength of LFT is as a self test. so you can churn out numbers with minimum labour needed. ODX have only applied for pro use (last summer?) - even when it comes through (lets assume it does) then how much market will there be for it? how much competition? also ODX has a woeful sales history. colin talked about getting a guy with his foot on the ground...ummm not sounding great

ODX can not afford to apply for self test in usa and even if they did then it would quite possibly be too late with the amount of competition already out there. plus the sales issue again

good journalism does not depend on whether you consider it positive for your trading strategy.

if the placing were for growth then it could be considered a possible good thing. however odx have given no indication it is for growth or what that growth would be. do you not think if they had something up their sleeve then Monday's rns was the time to at least give a hint? to combat the SP slaughter?

this is not a private company - any placing will generally result in a lower SP and more investor dilution

Lets hope you are right. however you did not answer my questions last night to back up why this was the case. it is no good just saying that they won't have to pay.

They are clearly in dispute over this and so both sides think they have a case.

the leak was good journalism as it alerted of a placing that had only been the week before in rns as not needed in the short term. leading to shareholders believing that it would be some time off and for growth purposes . just because it was bad news and did a lot of harm does not mean it wasn't journalism. that is what journalists do out the events not in the public domain. without the article next rns would have more than likely been this week with a placing at 5p for 5million shares

you keep repeating "rumour" - when the company confirmed by RNS that talks took place. so this was factual and not a rumour
if it had been a rumour they would have denied rather confirmed in the RNS

this is not one of those things that the more you repeat it the truer it will become

amen to that. i thought at the time it would be a safer bet on AIM as surely the gov would have checked into them ..... lol

i suspect a bit of the froth has gone with NCYT - as sexy covid stocks lose favour. the damage has been done to the SP and I suspect those who want out will have done it.
hopefully a bit of stability and then the slow climb back on fundamentals. of course any new variant etc should bring the herd back

It was clear on the Q&A that even it took a month and most of it was the same questions with the answer copied and pasted - there had been no proof read. Diabolical when the shareholders were looking to see what had gone wrong with the golden egg. not a sign of a professional outfit.

We know from ODX that they submit applications for approvals and the it get sent back and forth for additional input. I have joked in the past that they probably leave blank boxes / can't understand what is written / colin's buckfast stains covered some of the paperwork etc and then ODX wait for it to return - rather than try and complete first time.

I wonder how far from the truth this actually was. It is no wonder EU approval has taken at least 6-7 months so far

oke. hur called for an EGM from memory when the court cases were going on. The company got round it by calling for the next session to be before to try and negate it. it backfired on them as the judge ruled against the bod. the bod with the exception of CEO then all resigned before they could be pushed

i agree that the threat might start to get the bod more aligned with sh interests. communicate better and at least force the new CEO to come out of hiding and present his strategy- if there is one

good idea on the placing i am just not sure there would be enough PI hunger?

computer - i have wondered at times whether the negative RNS was a way of allowing them to ramp on twitter. if they got caught out then they could say but yes in the RNS we said XYZ

in hindsight they should have told us in the rns with the amount of the contract that there was an intial expiry date a month or so later - only one long stop allowed (6 months) and that there was no minimum amount guaranteed. oh and the gov might want the pre production payment back. some people might not have stayed in so long in the expectation that no news meant "busy busy" and "big things" which they were happy to tweet

i suspect because they could pump on twitter without falling foul of financial regulations. it was quite a contrast though when you write a tweet in what we know was (being generous) outlandish positivity and yet the RNS always seem to be written in the most damaging way. they did seem bi polar at times!

I never said he was a good guy - just I liked him. And it is always worth listening to him as he often points relevant stuff out. he calls some right and some wrong - which is why when i read the article my hear sank but i still thought there was the possibility he was wrong. i thought ODX could not lie so blatantly after just releasing an RNS

he fills a gap - people want to hear about shares and try to work out what is what. Not liking what he writes about a share I am in is very different from not liking him.

I am sure this is true in some cases. however the world is changing and people are choosing more and more to work independently. I have to say these days i trust independent journalism much more than MSM

Which one? Every time ODX release an RNS they seem to word it in the most damaging way possible.

but it wasn't a rumour by odx own admission - they confirmed they were in discussions regarding a placing..
And that was the drama. if it had been a rumour then ODX could have officially denied it and the SP would probably have risen
and no us shareholders got shafted again.
