Andec...my worry is on the number of variants currently in China...due to different Vax etc.
I fear we will get hit with something new to us.

Andec...agreed on Vax. Especially as from what I read the Chinese Vax are sub standard compared to elsewhere.

Even with testing...people are going to slip through...I clearly had COVID for 2 days prior to a positive lateral flow test confirmation.

However it is about damage limitation. And limiting speed of uptake over here of any new variants.

It is good to see no speeding ticket issued by ncyt. Be interesting to see if momentum carries on when trading resumes.

It would be lovely if the DHSc needed our stuff again...that would surely kill their claim dead.

don't know what is going on - is it pump and dump or speculation on covid getting worse? no idea. I think it is too soon for any dispute resolution. tbh don't care. feeling a bit more optimistic about the share now that salad man gone.

They are going to have to come up with some sort of case now that all the products in question have CTDA status

How many test for covid these days?
had flu before xmas - used some of my remaining gov freebies to tell it was flu and not covid. suggests to me flu is more prevalent than covid (at the moment)

though as travel opens up in china again - who knows what will be exported next?

in any case - odx will not make a penny in covid tests in future. they don't have one or the factory for it

hard to make a case for a very profitable growth business unless there is a nut allergy pandemic

and they are opening up travel again....surge in interest in flights - chinese new year.

agreed dsaf...i believe they are just playing a bit of chicken with each other. what odx are doing is saying if you take us to court we will counter claim.
if it goes to court and odx lose they will have to pay the gov costs.....i cant see then taking the risk...they need the cash they have got whilst still not selling much
i suspect if the gov insist on court odx will capitulate soon enough. they have a weak case on a contract they never understood.

Atan...I have said all along that the gov trying to get the cash back....is a sign being sent out that are robust in dealing with contracts. Pr stunt as much as anything else. Odx can't really afford for it to go to court...so I suspect if they can get away with paying half back....that would be a good result

trying to sell contentious snake oil in USA is not going to be easy - especially when serious immune organisations are calling it out.
it is too expensive to compete with the cheap chinese stuff that your average punter might "have a go"...be in it to win it etc mentality.

there will be court case costs to consider as well as disclosure of information which may want to be avoided.

it is a significant amount - something which the gov will want to be seen as trying to recuperate. the pre court negotiations haven't worked and both parties will hope that the threat of court will be enough to sway things

However the disclosure process is intended to enable all parties to evaluate the strength of their respective cases before trial, with a view ultimately to reducing costs.

at this ;point - one would hope there might be a backdown and compromise

it might go to court - equally it might be called off and a compromise sought.

john....tbh i think we are in for a much longer wait. Most commercial litigation cases don't go to court - but i cant see either side easily giving in. so my suspicion is that it will go to the wire until the game of chicken if not court. that could be 2-3 years away. personally i am happy with that as it gives NCYT time to get their XXXX together. come up with something lucrative or acquire it.
