i suspect when some newbies realise that the gross profit as hyped by the pump and dumpers is meaningless and the eebitda is released - there will be disappointment

there is nothing at all to suggest a rerate - which is why the sp is drifting down as i predicted

Up...I suspect the pursuit of ncyt was a PR thing..to show they are being robust with money spent during COVID . The small UK companies were easy targets compared to the Chinese and Turkish sub standard providers that we know of.

My guess is that we had a good case due to ctda approval but lost ground on their choice of expert ..who agreed too much with their expert.

I suspect their legal representation were much better too.

I think both wanted to avoid the cost and time of a trial..and so the gov won. All they asked for was either Costs or a nominal amount.

If this has been offered 2 years ago. I would certainly have snapped their hand off. Unfortunately 2 years of pain..and surviving on ncyt feeling they had a strong case ..leaves a bitter taste.

Ncyt did very well out of COVID when all is said and done...they got a war chest.

One could argue that they have frittered away a lot of it.

And have wasted 2 years with a rudderless ship

Ygen seemed a decent buy but a) was too much b) came with LR.

LR seems a better choice than the existing bod...but there are huge questions marks on his past performance

I have been disappointed with his tenure so far.

I think there could have been support for the sp with notification of vat refund and some tangible forward plan for monetisation.

Remains to be seen if he will redeem himself or just be another piggy in the trough

The company could easily have notified us of any refunds on vat and what it means in terms of current cash.

This would have recovered some sentiment and sp value.

A director buy would also have potentially helped

I can't see it being intentional..the gov got their victory and it doesn't include destroying ncyt value.

It seems to me that the bod don't particularly care about sh which is nothing new on aim
