after a bit more digging.... the other, unrelated callover case from last Fri moved forward - there is a confirmation hearing today...

... but KMR's is not yet featuring in this week's legal diary - maybe it failed to get past the preliminary hearing or simply the court has not yet assigned and/or published a date. Things obviously running their course but not expecting any announcement in the next few days.

From what I can see / understand, the hearing last Friday was a 'callover' only - ie a final review of the case prior to hearing, which is due to be heard sometime this week .... - hence no announcement / judgement as yet regarding cancellation of past losses / start up of dividends.

Well, if you believe the analyst presentation and can wait.... by 2021 with WCP C and Pilivili move complete, HMC production up from 1.3Mt to 1.6Mt, grade up from 3+% to 4+%, dividend at 60% payout level, dividend will be 40p+, what will the SP be....?

Here's hoping for some good news... I used it as a good enough reason to accumulate a few more.... a reasonable price too, as showing as a sell.

If we agree on 2% at the initial 20% payout level (which I agree is better than nowt), then the 60% payout level is only a couple of years down the track and you would like to think that once the policy is up and running, people would buy in on the expectation of what is to come - assuming sales and product prices hold up.

Comments on MC et al, I pass on - not really my thing - but think it is fair to say he has managed to improve the management team around him. Even if you do not credit him directly, at least being able to bring in decent people around him is worth something, as ultimately all who sail the good ship KMR will stand and fall together.

110M share gives total payout of USD 5.8M p.a..
At 20% payout of net profits, net profit would need to be approx USD 29M p.a..
Think you're low.
2018 cash generation 50M, stocks flat, depreciation offset by sustaining capex, investment capex 30M.
Think you can expect at least 4%.

My glass is always half full but I take some positives from this for KMR.

An emerging structural supply deficit in zircon and Iluka drawing down inventory to fill the gap to keep prices relatively stable. KMR is doing pretty well at these price levels and has increased certainty of expected revenue.

A tight ilmenite / rutile market, due to various supply disruptions and drawn down of inventories. A short term boost.

Nosir, interesting thought and rhetorical but think you're on the wrong track with that one.

Many of us, myself included, thought they could. This is how LTHs ended up in this mess and KMR lost credibility. Some, such as Peace, had more forethought than others and prediced '5p' only to be surprised himself when it reached '0.3p'. Interest at 45M, p.a. for a company losing money at operational level and ILU's arrogant approach said it all at the time. Secret here was to keep the faith in those darkest hours which is why I continue to appreciate the input of BF, Greeno, Mr K and others who held their nerve.

So, using mid range guidance, IL to fall 3%, Zr flat, Rutile up 6% for Y2019. With like for like WASP, revenue could fall by order of less than 5M. This will be more than offset by higher WASP as '19 starts at a higher level than '18 and KMR reporting +ve outlook, plus 5M odd from new monazite sales. Not mega growth but simply more of the same.

Will do fine for me. (Stripping out stock movements in year (flat) and offsetting sustaining capex with depreciation) '18 yielded increase in net cash balance of approx 50M (USD) and investment capex of 30M. With a MC of only 285M, surely confidence will increase with commencement of 4-5% dividend.

lol.... although you may be right, I'm still feeding the dog on a regular basis until it gets nutured back to health.

At the risk of getting shot at, I've also accumulated a few thousand more in the past 10 days. Can understand those who have lost faith but if you still have it (and sufficient patinence), hard to see KMR not having it's day.
