Sorry 2Iron, you're right I've ****ed that up.
Perhaps I should have used a 2 iron after all.
2Iron: To buy perhaps but certainly not for sales.
I would use a 5 wood if I were you....................................FORE !!!
Am I reading this RNS wrong. Investec Bank this morning sold 855 shares and seem to have received 7.7p a share. Strange number of shares and, worse still, how come they got 7.7p a share when any of us at the same time were getting 6.6p?
Advice anyone?
Hey joo1 I was only joking, you actually sound serious. Bought yours for a penny, did you?
Je ne sais pas mais il s'avère difficile à trouver.
Here's the reason we are on the way down:
We have had an offer at 6.6p per share from an organisation who found out that, so far, no one was interested at 7.7p. The market is, like us, fed up of HUR and are therefore trying to help the 6.6p bidder's wish come true. This has led to an almighty sell off, further leading to our BOD making a suggestion that we should accept it before things get worse, not least because the bid has been made by our erstwhile Ad Hoc group of Bondholders who are refusing to go away.
Personally, 6.6p would very acceptable to me given that I only paid a mere 38p each for numerous shares when I first bought in 5 minutes after the presentation by Mr Trice insinuating that under a part of the sea that we owned lay many millions worth of barrels of oil. I remember thinking at the time how rich Mr Trice was going to make me and, something like David Beckham, I would have many beautiful motors to play with. Never mind , I am sure that Mr Trice deeply regrets what has happened to us all and will be hoping that we have all managed to survive, financially, and that, after all, a loss of £84000.00 is just a mere drop in the same sea we all partially owned thanks to his outstanding effort. Strangely, he has never told us what he has been up to since then or where he has settled down but I sincerely hope he is well, both health and financially wise.
So , you can now see why I am perfectly satisfied with a sale at 6.6p and I am fairly sure that most members of our blog are too and will, therefore, join me when it comes to offering our votes without question when we are asked to do so. In addition to my undivided, and wholehearted desire for this to occur I am of the firm opinion that it will solve any financial difficulties that some members here are currently experiencing.
LET'S GO FOR IT ASAP. WHAT DO YOU SAY......................................................................JOKE............. just in case.
Thank you WiTech. Often wondered what that was all about.
Roll on Christmas.
Still 7.71p a share. If I could I would shag algorithms, they are boring me to near death.
Dream, what dream, you're lucky, I haven't had a dream ever since this thing went tit's up along with the amount of oil we had available. I lay awake almost all night mulling over what I should do with my shares. I spend most of my night without sleep due to thinking 'wouldn't it be nice if we suddenly had a new CPR which showed categorically that we had found a Billion barrels of oil just at a time oil was priced at $150 a barrel, wouldn't it be lovely if one of the big oilers wanted to buy us out for 25p a share, and then all sorts of wouldn't its. Then I get up knackered and fall asleep just as England are about to kick off.
Seems to me that, for some obscure reason, this share is being meticulously bound and gagged to its value at the time of our, so far, only offer to buy the place. The suggestion of a dividend in the first quarter of next year is probably another scam just to keep us in suspense for as long as possible until they spring upon us whatever it is they want to spring upon us. Perhaps the worst case would be an acceptance of that solitary offer of 7.7p for lock stock and barrel of HUR in order to please their long standing cohorts, THE AD HOC BONDHOLDERS, who I suspect have never gone away.
I'm only jesting of course....err err...............................
I've already bet my shirt on this carpking................................Oh!! perhaps you meant short, sorry. Anyway no one holding a short in excess of 0.5%
Yes, asinfulinvestor, I know there are too many 'alreadys' in there before you grab your mouse.
I just ticked you up for that chique. He's not as clever as he thinks, is he? I'm afraid that the vast popularity of senseman is sending him insane. At least that's the way he's behaving, in fact he's already a raving lunatic already, bless him.
The ever obliging asinfulinvestor.
Any potential buyer of our HUR could perhaps screw his/her/its nose up at the duration of this Windfall Tax raid, 2028.
I'm only guessing
Carpking: "Surely we should be sat around 10p by now?"
I don't think Thursday afternoon will help us to get to 10p in a hurry.
The very obnoxious 'simples' is getting more cover on here than Christiano Ronaldo is getting everywhere else.
Gimme a break please.
asinfulinvestor: "but presumption of the truth works wonders when talking to people who really don't have a clue as to the size of China nor the Chinese economy."
Oh, clever clogs.
..............isn't it that the bid seems glued to 7.7p, matching yesterday's offer to buy. A sum that CA appeared to be happy with. Is it going to be glued there forever until we get bored to tears with it and then capitulate. DON'T DO IT.
There is so much going on under the table at the mment that we'll never be able to keep up with it.
