I've asked them 2 major questions.

1. How many shares are WSL holding in Bytedance (tiktok)

2. Will they consider an investment into crypto

This is highly speculative play but at around £1.5m in cash and a mcap at the same level.. the directors only pay themselves 20k a year, they aren't bleeding the company... around 60% held by the BOD and insiders.

Even a modest investment in Bytedance could see it bag considerably moves on tiny volume... Will be interesting to see what they say regarding the crypto.

Won't hold my breath... but sometimes if you don't ask... you don't get.

Agree, highly likely he’s a con artist... but let’s just wait and see what happens here, it’s not long till we get info & pointless trying to second guess.

Seems more likely the assets shot up in value as opposed to a sudden surge increase in assets flowing in.

To be honest I think Bytedance is on for a similar valuation to Tencent which is around $700b (eventually).

Tbh there are a great deal less ponzi’s on aim than there used to be...

Since David Leni gas got booted off it seems to have cleaned itself up a bit but there are inevitably still some there.

I actually think the chances here are alrite...

When you consider no one turned up to the meeting... hardly strikes of a background plan being forced to be liquidated in a hurry. But let’s see.

Thing is mate & no matter how much research you do on any company... you / we are not in control & there is often a distinct possibility of being stitched over.

It’s China hardly the most honest business jurisdiction. & they are fat cats - not ideal (for starters) !

You refer to the big holders still holding... very distinct possibility they’d sold or cashed some in... who could prove otherwise ?

One of the reasons companies and ponzi’s get away with stitching on the stock market is because no one who’s been stitched wants to spend the money taking them to court / can’t afford it. It’s the Wild West.

That said.. let’s just wait and see, it is pointless trying to second guess anything as it won’t change the outcome.

I think really this is where everyone here is at.. not one person has ever sung the praises of AST’s past, quite frankly, it’s been an utter s**t show.

Looking forward & drawing a line in the sand.. it matters little given this has new management and is a binary play which hinges on success negotiating from the bod.

Fig - their business model is built around giving free trades to retail investors and then selling the data to the hedge funds so they can front run them & get analytics data.

The nav really isn’t important here, it’s speculative, it could easily be valued at multiples of the nav as it’s speculative & tech.

Interesting to see their AUM shoot U.K. from less than $15m when wsl invested to $190 at end of 2020

I would like to see Guident listed on its own accord eventually.

Would release value via a divi & retain a % for sp growth.
