People on this board in particular seem pretty out there with their expectations of how negotiations and transactions of multi million £ assets work.
It’s not a delay. & it’s a positive as. It’s not a supermarket checkout or Amazon shopping cart - they’re selling a mine & negotiating to partner or sell another.
People need to manage their expectations with a bit of reality!
Rhodi tbh my opinion is much the same as antelopes. Perhaps it could be a signal that DA is moving towards the next stage of its growth, for a sale, or..?
I’m not sure what’s going on here atm - it’s defo not normal trading / pa ... I’m not sure if there is fundamentally something coming (sale..) ... OR if it is more a case of VC’s / HNW investors buying the loose stock up as they see a discounted valuation. Which undoubtedly it is in comparison to the USA.
The PA defo strikes me as VC’s HNW & brokers buying as yesterday we had 240 trades, today 70... same cycle of volume has been going on over the last few weeks/months.
What we don’t know as the FY told us so little... is what are their motives !?
Kitkat - lol. Not the results very long termers wanted but a change of direction could be the catalyst for people to get there money back... while locking in 8p per share dividend.
Just need MGMT to smoke some pot and this will do 500% lol.

Well yes of course its possible to list it on an exchange but Junior markets don't like or appreciate boring, small revenue generating companies. it wouldn't be received well and in short all the b0llocks they are chatting on ADVFN about NASDAQ listing or an IPO being a good thing is just that.
That was my point.
As you say - lets just sell something AS and show the market you can deliver.

IMO. There will be (nor should there be) a IPO of DA. It would not be a positive.
If as seems most likely DA is not valued on its a revenues but its "Best in class" abilities... the market would not treat it with the same respect that a VC with the ability to understand value.
It won't be getting an IPO, FVR perhaps as they actually make money lol.

Rhodi - IPO may be possible... lets still keep it relatively grounded in that... on ADVFN they talk about a NASDAQ listing for DA ... there is no chance of DA being listed on the NASDAQ (it isn't even possible if you look into the listing rules) nor realistically would we want DA to be listed on any market if it is not in the business of creating very large revenues. (which currently I don't think it is)
Far better ? And more likely that they bring in a cornerstone investor VC or alike Or alternatively sell the lot ??
7 months is fairly averagely decent house transaction timeframe - should have given them enough time to work out how much they will or won’t rip everyone off.
That pretty much sums it up. Tbf considering 3 trading days ago we had an announcement saying “7.3p nav” something that has pushed this sub 7p in the past & we are not already paying 11.5p 50% higher than nav.

Ade - Look at the trading and PA it can tell us a lot and not based on opinion but facts.
We only traded around 25m shares to push us up to 43p - assuming those on the other side of the buys were flipping out of their placing shares... as we could assume there the only ones prepared toe sell around level (given it has rarely been that low).
Then even tho the company has increased its shares in issue by around 70% only around 10% were prepared to offload. seriously bullish for it to go higher - lots of demand / prepareto hold.
We've only traded (today) another 2.5m shares to push us up to the 49p buy zone. Again really ish considering how many shares were issued lower.
There seems to be lots of hunger in the shares and VERY few sellers below this level...
Although we could take a breather and dip back a few pence (possible) seems Very unlikely this will fall through 42p given many holding are in from the 35-42p level and the demand is clearly outweighing the supply (currently) much more likely we keep going up.
