Perhaps mate but last year the share price spiked to 16p based on some REALLY enthusiastic PR (which came to nothing) and he still placed at 7p... It's those kinds of actions which create so much distrust in him, turn the PR machine up when you wan't money off people & quell any kind of share price rise.

Nefbeta01 - you refer to him only being able to use the historic figure... we were promised a revaluation event in Q1 .... nothing happened.

Really is the point... If you promise and don't deliver & if they wanted to do it, they could, it would create less dilution, but they don't... hence the mistrust in his motives which are completely valid.

The 45% drop against a 15% increase is largely because given his previous form everyone expects a pacing below 10p which as you say... shows the little faith (rightly so imo) investors have in him.

If anyone can think of a reason as to why AS insists on keeping the NAV the same for 6 years and raising funds at a stupid discount other than for selfish ones, I'm all ears..

CTA 2009 s46(1) follow the accounts subject to any adjustment required or authorised by law in calculating profits.

When you sell the assets you are subject to Corporation tax on the chargeable profits at that time which is an adjustment required. I'll leave it as an exercise for you to find that legislation.

Pretty sure you can defer taxes on none liquidated asset gains and they would go down in your liabilities on the balance sheet as a tax liability.

The only plausible explanation I can think of is for selfish reasons.... the company as a whole and it’s shareholders would benefit from it increasing, from both a funding perspective & a SP one.
