Why are we going on and on and on and on about the vaccine and how it does or does not work, let's all please move on ....... !! Wat will be will be and this share price will only improve when the finance's improve ... and with that you will see the fruits of RR restructuring and strategic positioning during 2022 / 23

Not sure you will find any updates ref ITP, keep these things hush hush until fully agreed, the passed reports iv read lead me to think it will go through as the main stumbling block relating to job security was cleared.
These things tend to be released at the most optimum point, but not always with the share price in mind.
Best place to look I would think is the RR site for updates.

Red .. iv been saying since Oct last year that I could see 1.30 May June time and 1.50 for Dec but sadly Covid has been very unpredictable. However RR just need to continue what they are doing and as you say we will get there at some point
Flights are still improving and will continue to do so with more double jabs and testing.
I think we need to resine ourselves to the fact that this year is going to bumpy.

There overall financial situation has got to continue to improve, but I would not be selling anything until we get more info ref ITP and until the August quartile financial report.

The 1.34 was on the announcement of the first vaccine, everyone got excited for a short wile, soon found its level again.
The 1.28 was I think slight excitement over the Bergen sale which quickly fell after it was vitoed.
Who knows what going to happen next, still a lot of volatility this year, ITP maybe the next spike,but not much after that.
Hang around if you can wait, but it will be 2022 onwards for any real stability.
All pritty obvious really as covids going nowhere fast but we are getting back to some form of normality with flights.

At this point in time it's clearly closer to the 80s than the £ ... but if you don't need to sell then what's all the fuss about, world Market at the moment is looking more negative than positive... close your eyes fall asleep and come back around the 5th Aug when the next RR financial are out.

Lets all get back to the main points-
.Increased inflation does cause a drag on share price, and this is not likely to improve in the short term, analysis predict inflation correction Q2 2022.
.RR balance sheet needs to improve in order to bolster confidence in the stock.
.Long haul flights will continue to improve.
. The sale of ITP and Burgen will help this years financial stability.
.Covid cases will continue to worsen through this winter.
. RR will continue to get stronger with 2022 / 23 being the growth periods for this stock.
There will be some short gains from this current low price but it will bounce back this year with more stability around improved inflation/economic growth.
Mattxxx1 .. glad you recovered well from covid and your family all safe ( I really do mean that) but a lot do not and for some this year going in to next it will still be very difficult, with further loss of life.

Look we all know this share price is flipping disappointing.. to say the least.. and flights or no flights we are still in a load of sh@t with this covid stuff, and know mater what the gov does, its not going to help, if anything make it worse, more cases = more variants which means no one is going to want to see us Brits anyway.
And no mater wat happens this year RR will continue to bob Along, so get used to it and either stay or sell up. You may get a spike when they sell there accets but other than that 2022 plus is the year to wait for.

The share price dropped below 5.00 before the pandemic hit, and had been on the slide since early 2019, I sold at 9.38 just before the decline.
RR was still suffering from the fall out over the engine blade problems, which a report recently suggest this has now been resolved ( thanks to covid) and the very expensive resolution ref the fraud charges.
I belive until the fan blade issue had been sorted the share price would have continued struggle.

So explain ITP , Bergen etc.... are they not selling RR off in parts? ...
You could look at it that way, but remember RR as part of there agreed loans/bonds security needed, as part of the financial recovery package to raise a portion of the overall funds, through the RI and accet sales, these two companies were ideally placed to do this.
