The passed 18 months have been a weird and wonderful time for shares, not seen the likes before.
£2.50 is roughly £8 to £9 pre RI, What next, you could see a rise, if div are re issued, you could see a rise if the balance sheet continues to improve and of course growth in orders as we've seen, certainly moves this share price up.
Unfortunately there's also a lot of factors outside of RR control that could have a negative effect.
So nobody really knows what this share will do ... we just all know that things are getting back to normality and as I've said MANY a time RR have and continues to do all the right things (as a lot of these post highlights) so this, in my opinion, will only improve over time. I know all prity obvious right .. !

Petrol prices have gone up but you don't stop driving.
I read somewhere that a full business class pays for the full expenses of that flight all other seats are profit ?? Someone may want to enlighten me

Nothings impossible Bot, is it likely to jump 70p, possibly.. everything you have said should indicate this has every chance but its RR after all, and the market will do what it likes to do and surprise us all, I just hope it's a nice surprise for Christmas. Now 2022 I think you will see the largest growth and the end of year figures should look a lot better.

All this positive news is great, it also shows RR are doing all the right things for the future.. however it's not going to make a dint to the share price now, profitability and a strong balance sheets is all that matters in the short to medium term.

They sometimes do an interim report before final.

I never get tired of seeing your £7 close .. as long as you don't go to some ridiculous figure like £8 close, cos that would just loose you any credibility you have left .. :)

They all sit on the fence .. wasters the lot of them, always looking after number one.

I "invest" in RR .. and done so for many years and with a lot of luck been OK so far, (the rights issue was a testing time) like a lot on here I did not take advantage of the three main spikes as I'm looking at long term, however I found this rise to tempting and pressed the button but brought back in again on the first dip, as the positivity around RR now, is just to good not to be back in .. so back to square one, sort off !! ... Its still going to be a bumpy ride but all good for the future, and will continue to hold.

It's difficult to know how the rest of this year will pan out but I'm happy its at 135 + and not 105, and hope it ends this year at 150 + as iv been predicting .. since late 2020 .. :) just thought I'd get that in ! Have a good weekend all ..

Flights could be interrupted again if other countries see the UK getting out of controand seeing a possibles problem with spreading any new variants, I read that Morocco had already cancelled flights from the UK ?

This gov need to get a grip, even if its small measures, they need to be seen to be taking things more seriously, we don't need to be reporting 100k plus new cases a day, even if the so called expert's think we are already there. ! as not all cases are being recorded.

Red your slowly loosing all credibility... I think this conversation ref deaths from covid has been had to many times ... the fact is that we are getting deaths due to contracting covid, whether within 28 days or after 28 days and regardless of any pre health conditions.
Data is and will always be manipulated to suit ones own agenda !

Cw / Rr .. I think your spot on unless there's some good news again ref orders etc then this will stay around these levels for the remainder of this year / next.
RR are doing all the right things it just needs time, as Svend said .. it could be 1.48 or 1.28 !!! Who knows your at the mercy of the market, may be some good top up points though :)

Articles posted are not going to make a big difference to the share price at this point however they showw the progressive nature of the company and future growth which will have a major impact on the diversification and future profitability and therefore can only be a possitive thing, I personally find them interested and helps to understand your investment and possible growth.
If someone's wants to research and post article's with a RR interest then that's fine with me you choose what you want to read .. the same way you choose to either be or not be on this chat forum :)

I should have said .. there are normaly some trading updates in between the 1/2 results and final results which are normaly in March

There should be some trading updates end of Dec and Jan with full year results 11th March.
