Been watching for some time, and who knows really.. but should I invest or not, price looks good as a starting price, but I can see lots of confusion.
Yes or No ?

Evergrande if unable to resolve the problem will have an effect on the market not directly on to RR but there are major financial institution involved and it will have an impact. The new housing market could see a major rebound as funds get tight.
However short term, long haul flights are all looking good and I can't see these declining now, the Airways are full. :)

I'm not sure what's been going on as iv not been on here for a while so not reading ALL the post, ... and sometimes it's pointless when you see a bit of friction going on.
But Red, your last post did make me smile..

It will have an effect on the shares, but it should be short lived, hopefully..

We will be lucky to see this share and others maintain there current levels, we will see another lock down probable post christmas, and things will take some time to level out.
This will continue to have an effect on the world economy and I can only see this share price dropping further.
Any improvement will come towards the end of Q2.
Just my opinion ..
I also think that some on here need to realise that we all have our own view's on life and none of us are perfect, infact we are all far from perfect.
This is a forum for discussions on RR shares and stock market in general, covid currently playes a part in shaping this market and discussions should be kept around that fact and not personal view's on how to manage this situation. We should all respect and consider other people's position's...

And I think all political are a load of shi@ters all in it for themselves.. wouldn't pay them in washers ..

This share price will recover, sadly not all covid patients will.

We still don't know how this will effect hospitals and possibly knock on effects for everyday patients, which is why they are ramping up the vaccines... which ever way you take that.

The problem is you can not win, (rock and a hard place)
Because of last time if they don't act and things get really severe then you would say you should have acted sooner, without the data its hard to say how this will play out and they can not wait for the data befor acting just in case, I'd rather see some restrictions on the side of caution then at least we can pull back if it's not that severe... which is what they are doing.

Sometimes we all over react, money is important .. if you have none you realise its importance .. life is also important, and unfortunately we will all experience the loss of life at some point in your life.
We all need to protect our investments but we all need to protect our loved ones, which is more important ?

Imo, anything below 1.25 is a good entry, as long as your not in a hurry for a profit.. but who knows what that perfect entry point is .. at the moment it's anybodies guss but I think we've not seen the bottom yet, we still have a lot of uncertainty around.
I am looking to buy more but will just wait, if I miss it then I'm not to bothered, I'm OK with my current position.

Things are not going to get better any time soon, there's still to much going on in the market, tomorrow's interim report will help but its all about the end of year statement/ figures as said before this year is all about recovery and its been very unpredictable.. with next year seeing a more stable outcome and share growth.
So use this as a entry point / top up or just sit it out .. until (JTT 2025 £7.00 year)

Think you may be right Hkfuey, expect the unexpected.. always a difficult call knowing when to sell though.

Evergrande debt crisis could also spell future problems for the housing market and some UK financial institutions.. caution on what your investing in.

Once again it just showes how things can turn very quickly but we all knew the winter period was going to be difficult but now the media will continue to be all over this variant.
I think it's got some way to go yet befor settling down, the weekend news is not going to be good.
As you all say great opportunity to buy (how low) ? but still no need to panick if your on a paper loss and can just wait it out.
It doesn't get boring with RR share ... and feel happy investing here rather than some of the other big drops today. IAG is a bit riskie. Imho
