Yeah, well done to everyone who stuck with RR. I sold out and went ball deep into IAG, but I suppose that’s just investments. I’ve been tracking both prices and at one point we was as much as 0.17 ahead and it was consistent but how the tides have changed lol. Patience has to be the name of the game in any investment, it’s just the patience is tested here lol. GLA

Strikes at Heathrow have been called off.

I’m currently at 180 to break even and then a little bit of profit would be nice. I’m not going to pin my hopes on the IAG AGM just because that isn’t the catalyst, unless they make a big announcement or something which is totally game changing. I remember there was a time when this was a bargain under £2 but now it seems it has to be a miracle to get it to them levels. Let’s see, I’m not going anywhere at the moment but if this gets to £2 then I’ll be very tempted to sell. In the meantime RR may well be a good buy in at this point

My brother flew with Gulf Air from Delhi back to LHR, they ended up waiting 2 hours for their luggage in October last year, I don’t think it’s a airline thing, it’s more or a ground handler issue. Things like this happen, not just with BA. Whilst I appreciate I have have IAG shares, I really don’t think this issue a BA issue, these things happen world wide and with a lot of other ground handlers so let’s not make this an issue specific to BA, it’s just the press making stories and it will pass, nothing to see here move on to the next article end of

Everyone will say cautious optimism for the very fact there’s a war in Ukraine and the possibilities of things kicking off in Taiwan with China. Just wish these geopolitical issues would be resolved so we could all move on peacefully.

So this has happened, I called this ages ago, TPE have been cancelling trains since forever, next it will be Avanti West Coast, they have been in the news for cancelling trains. It seems to me it’s a FGP thing. If memory serves me correctly, I’m sure there was a vote years back to come out of rail franchising all together, probably wasn’t a bad call. Shame they have tainted the West Coast with the same brush. GWR another operator, out of the spotlight but not too far from controversy. We can keep banging the drum about the Emergency Measures Agreement (ERMA) but ultimately speaking under the ERMA they still have targets to meet and they are not meeting them. This will drop like a balloon but how far is anyone’s guess. I’ve sold, I’m done

So that’s the base of their business together with Hotels and cruises. Whilst I appreciate and understand that flights being full isn’t the catalyst going forward we are in this now to see what happens. I was in during the last RI, I wasn’t impressed then and I’m much less impressed now but with CoviD behind us and hopefully the war will come to an end soon, I actually wonder if there is a upside. Only time will tell but like any stock there are lots of variables. Would I go for another RI in the future?? definitely NOT, do I think there will be a RI in the future??, I very much doubt it. Is this a high risk share??, definitely YES but I have other stock that are less vulnerable to balance my risk. Not every share will be a winner because if they were then I think it’s fair to say everyone would be in it. Obviously DYOR and don’t risk anything you can’t afford to lose

Well I’m in Malaga and flew with TUI, every single seat was taken and there was queues for every TUI flight I looked at out of LGW
