Life has been very quiet for Rockhopper lately as the restructuring of Premier takes place and the Tribunal ruminates. Today’s news obviously says nothing solid but it must be good to be closing in on an answer to the question after such a long time. Whatever the outcome RKH still has an enviable position at Sea Lion which at todays oil price must have very positive economics.

I note comments regarding the old PMO team working on a cheaper development option to show to harbour. I can not see how the breakeven of circa $40 can be anything but higher in a smaller development .

I can't find your comments regarding the Egypt purchase as they were on iii. Regardless of your or my views it's no good looking in the rear view mirror. The oil price is at a level now and RKH have a partner that is cash rich whereby FIG will allow no more delays. HE will need to use or lose the licence. The next 12 months will be make or break. I now see this as a 50/50 play with oil trading at ~$70

rpoodle, RKH would still own the assets if FID had occurred or the arbitration had been settled. However, I do not understand your views as you were against RKH moving into Egypt if I remember.

Ovets, obviously you have not read my posts. I have already said the management have overpaid themselves. I don't have a problem with a resolution to reduce wages but some want management removed. I simply think that is madness at this stage of the game.

rpoodle I give much respect for your posts but you and I both know NO other management team would have brought Sealion to first oil yet. If oil had stayed a $100 after 2010 Sealion would be producing now. Fracking put paid to that.
