The way I see it is that this company is up 5h1t creek without a paddle. Yes Mali operations are profitable for now but they clearly need to transition their production profile away from Mali either by developing their existing portfolio or acquire producing mines in alternative jurisdictions.

How do they fund this transition, they're going to need 400/500 million to build and ramp up a new mine equal to existing operations in Mali or a billion plus to buy a producing one.

I'm not saying they can't raise debt or acquire another equally sized producer but they can't do it quickly without a lot of help and that help will come with heavy costs for shareholders.

Well the reality is such that they don't need the permission of minority shareholders anymore... And in my experience when someone is bold enough to tell you what they're going to do, they usually don't surprise.
