While discussions are continuing, there can be no certainty that any firm Offer will be made even if the pre-conditions are satisfied or waived. A further announcement will be made if and when appropriate. Hummingbird shareholders are strongly advised not to take any action at this time."

Preferred outcome would be a rule 9 waiver, for the unsecured cig debt to equity conversion. Dugbe sale and 35m to offset a big chunk of the secured capital and commercial production. Given that they poured 2.5k in 4 days this week, commercial production is there already and the eventual £1 a share future target now becomes 50p

A lot to play for still and I very much doubt this is the final twist of the story. This is not in any way a ramp CIG have played a very good hand and I suspect it's been successfully timed to perfection before commercial production is announced.

CIG related parties can't vote Bismark.

I would imagine that the final 25% might not be actually that easy to get considering that CIG relates parties won't be allowed to vote.

If you look back far enough to around the time of the 8.75p placing I made comments about what may happen when CIG gets to the all important 75% threshold.

They've been bought at 7.8 cents too, which is 6.05p in real money, whoever sold them obviously thought it was favourable. 😜👍

I held a lot of private shares in a company I used to work for but was able to offload them via Charles Stanley.. Whilst you might not want to sell them, they do facilitate private equity transactions via a process not to dissimilar to Dutch auctions. Worth an explore even if you don't intend on selling them ATM.

Yeah I would Guvvi. The asset is a dream and the mined grade is now 3.5% everyone wondered if it was a dust ball and we now know that it isn't... just a case of the bod being incapable of delivering it and it appears this could be the cost to get rid of them.

However I have the time and can afford to lock it away for another 12 months but I completely understand why peeps might want to cut and run too.

No Bismark it's bad wording it doesn't mean it's additional liabilities. That would mean that zero proceeds of selling gold was being used to offset OPEX costs and we no that isn't true because of the AISC.
