"The Company has today issued direction notices to certain registered holders of depositary interests representing an aggregate 122,193,130 ordinary shares in the Company"
Certain registered holders of depositary interests... So does this mean that we know that a broker is holding the shares on behalf of someone else? Obviously a broker has no requirement to notify us of their holding even if it's a massive percentage. so, could these mahoosive trades be the shares being transferred from the broker to the owner? I say this as when I transferred shares from my non-ISA account to my ISA they were printed as a single trade, so these large single trades could be transfers too I guess. Obviously, there is the question of the price they have gone through at, but like when I switched my shares, the average value to me of the shares I switched was like 2.5p, but I did the transfer when the price was 1.45, so it would have looked to anyone else like a large sell at one 1.45. Its late at night so might not have explained that as well as I wanted to, but basically looks to me like the shares may now be being transferred to their rightful owner.
