We continue to build a positive reputation for the mysquar brand, mingalarbar morning running a story about how we have been assisting the residents of an old folks home with gift baskets... Type of thing that wouldn't get you that far in the UK, but my understanding is that these gestures carry much more weight in Eastern culture.

Yeah all moving along well. If we can get another couple of remittance channels tied up soon that would be great news. A channel with Thailand would be good as I was reading recently there are 600,000 Myanmarians working in Thailand, won't be as well paid as those in Singapore but its a lot of people sending money home.

Agree clumpet, not sure okdollar would have done themselves any favours with that approach, however, they may have felt that the application process was a lot slower than they expected, and took the decision for business purposes. Hopefully the central bank have learned from this that businesses need these applications to be processed promptly, to avoid them incurring unnecessary losses.

Not sure that any animal which feeds out a trough gives a **** about how well illuminated it is... Will it be able to feed on what the trough has to offer is the question. Mysqar is offering up some scraps at the moment, but just wait till the farmer arrives with the goods to fill the trough up!! We'll get first dibs for our patience, before the herd arrives to feed on the offering... OK a wee bit bored this afternoon! :-)

You really think that Atlas blindly walked into a £2.2m deal? They did their homework on the first deal and will have made good money. They will have done their homework on the second deal too. They will have known at the point of making this second deal that it wasn't going to be an immediate return. The money is being used as the capital for the licence so there was always going to be a delay between the fundraising and the positive news regarding the licence while the application was being processed, Atlas will have known this. PIs could work it out, but clearly many are too impatient to wait on the reasons they invested coming to fruition.

Every sell no matter how little takes us to a new low, while the buys have no impact, can't remember the last time a buy caused an increase!

If the plan is to scare PIs into selling then they are certainly playing a good game! This is tough to watch, but all the drops are from tiny volume. The second fundraise immediately after the first is really killing us, proving now to be as bad a move as it looked at the time. However, I believe the company has a lot going for it and if we can just secure the licence then hopefully we can begin motoring back in the right direction. If we get the licence I'm sure we'll be a JV target and at current rates will be significantly undervalued, so a re-rate will soon follow. Painful stuff but a few peeps selling small volume isn't anything to panic about.

I remember that rumour too. Thing is it now seems a little illogical, as I think we had in the region of 600m shares back then...so a value of say £35m, well with the latest Atlas shares converted well be not far off double that number of shares so to offer share holders the same value per share (6p) they would have to almost double their offer to around £66m. Perhaps the point is that they have now amassed enough shares to ensure a takeover will happen. And they have done so at a discounted rate.

I'm sure whatever their strategy is, we can be sure that it's well thought out and makes good business sense, they won't be looking to pay over the odds.

You're correct Diego that tencent could buy us without a thought, but I think they are aware that it would complicate things significantly with the payments licence if they were to take us over before we secured the licence. There is a lot of due diligence required to be carried out by the central bank before granting the licence and I think it will be cleaner if we get the licence then they JV, with us, taking us over in the future.

Good article on the Minglarbar Morning website today about the new Mygame App. Looks like it is to encourage people to play all the mysquar games, and if they get to certain levels in each of the games they will get in game rewards and improve their VIP status. Also allows updates and new games to be pushed out directly to all who have the mygame app as mentioned before by Eric and Chong.

Agree with what you say Bezzy, my thoughts exactly.

I have a theory also that he was sent walking as the licence application may have been knocked back on the basis of him not being fit, if they didn't like some of the allegations out there about him. In which case I hope they are right on top of this to show they took swift and decisive action to address the concerns and they can secure the licence quickly now.

I'm sure this will turn around and quickly when it does, but there are a number of factors at the moment which need dealt with before we are going anywhere - bonds, licence, further progress update on remittance/user numbers and most of all a bit more clarity on the overall strategy.

Well that's the thing StarRage, there are Rising Dragon outfits with shares, Eric used to be connected to these, but I see Rising Dragon Singapore no longer exist or hold shares, but can't find anything on Rising Dragon Capital, who own 4.76%. So it's unclear, just think that there may be some Eric related reason for this dip. On the Sea Desert and GP Holding Desert, i would have thought they would be holding, but who knows really!

I think it's clear that Eric was pushed and didn't walk. I'm thinking that if he is indeed in a court case this month, then he might be cashing in all his shares in the company to allow him to hide his cash before his assets are frozen. Just a thought, seems odd that we sat around the 1p -1.2p mark for months, then when Eric is booted we drop to new lows. Can't be cause people feel he is a loss, at best people thought he wasn't great and at worse a crook, so can't see that this is a market reaction to the news. Someone is selling big chunks without the corresponding buys we saw with the conversions in the first Atlas fundraiser. If this is the case it will blow over soon enough, when he is out of shares. He's received the share for free anyway, so he's one of the few people who can sell at these prices and not be making a loss.

Not sure you're getting it Graham... Maybe have another read of the rns and then have a wee think about why a company might appear to be supporting a much larger competitor who doesn't yet have a significant footprint in the companies country of business. With qs like that I can see why you have 35k posts!
