We ain't even talking about the 74% increase in year on year profit today! I can understand why the heard ain't running yet, most of us here have been tracking this for some time and can start to read between the lines and firm up our positions. To an outsider, it may seem like a positive bit new but the significance will be missed. Reading between the lines Eric has certainly been pushed, the fact the ceo departing wasn't even mentioned in the title of the rns is a clear indicator that the board don't see this as a issue for or something significant, I'm sure they will shout however when they make there new appointment. I'm certain the new ceo will have tencent link. As dshox mentioned, we're clearly now building the wechat brand in Myanmar and when the payments licence is in place (I believe an organise had to have an office in Myanmar to secure this) we'll be moving towards the takeover.... Hold tight and bring it on! PS we even have stone cold Steve Austin on board now!

The deal with Tencent has got underway with an exciting and lucrative advertising deal, great new, why mention Tencent's payment platform and how widely used it is in the RNS? I'm certain they will be assisting us in building out ours in the not too distant future when the licence arrives, probably as a joint venture. Also, great to see the companies take payment in shares as part of the advertisement agreement, shows a lot of faith in the deal. Think Eric was a bit out of his depth and it's great to see that the board have made a strong decision for the good of the company, with a years salary in his pocket I'm assuming that means he's been pushed rather than walked and that it's an agreed settlement to avoid and unfair dismissal case. I'm back to strong buy!

Hi starrage, Reading your earlier point in response to my analysis and assumptions on the financials. It's my understanding that the substantial increase in the full year loss figures relates to a number of one off costs. "as a result of the acquisition costs of MyPay Myanmar, amortisation charges and the one-off costs of staff rationalisation, management changes and fundraising expenses." My analysis was around how the $6m raised was spent, rather than the full year position. If course the audited accounts will show the full £1m (or $1.3m..ish) paid to mypay as an expense. So that alone will take us to $4.3m for the year. Perhaps my assumption about the change in exchange rate increasing the minimum capital requirement from the $2.2m stated in the acquisition rns to $3m is a bit much, so let's say $2.5m and the other $500k was spent on the amortisation charges and the one-off costs of staff rationalisation, management changes and fundraising expenses. Bring us to a full year expense position of $4.8m which by all accounts is a significant increase from $3m the previous year. However none of this increase is an increase in the monthly burn (not to say this hasn't been increased) but certainly previous indication were that steps were being take to reduce monthly burn as of April 18. So in summary I stand my assertion (and hope) that the capital requirement has been put aside. An unaudited trading update will only show the funds available to spend, the full year audited accounts will show the capital requirement being held on account.

I don't believe that's true starrage. The announcement was on 29th March but related to the interim results from June to Dec 2017. If you look at the rns from 29th March (and scroll towards the end) you'll see that as of 31st Dec 2017 there is an entry for "Other receivables (Includes funds held on account with an advisor in connection with a potential acquisition) $822,377." Not part of the march Atlas fundraise. So our position is better than you calculated.

If you look back at the rns relating to the mypay acquisition, you notice the following statement... "As noted in the Company's interim results announced on 29 March 2018, USD 822,000 (approximately GBP 619,000) of the cash consideration was already held on deposit with an adviser with the balance of approximately GBP 381,000 due to be paid from the Company's existing cash resources." So we should in theory be £619k better off than what you have suggested starrage.

Yeah agree... we have a bunch of peeps come crawling out the woodwork today to tell us how we all know nothing and actually the volume today is a great thing, the share price is about to explode, despite the fact its dropped 7% today and there have be several massive sells. Seems that people can now buy credit with wave money, am I right in thinking this is the first time people have been able to buy credit without it being paid for through their mobile phone bill? Offering discounts on the top up options to encourage people to top up with wave money. The more convenient options there are for people to buy credit the better!
