If I sold my 10m shares now I could theoretically purchase then via placing (at 1.5p) and then get a handful of free warrants which I would carry no risk with. Would still have the capital appreciation of the 10m shares

Wouldn’t be surprised if if a few sold out and opted for the placing shares simply to get the warrants - certainly little buyer interest at the moment

Must be a few smug investors who bought chefs shares last week and are now 30%

Taking anyone’s views on a chat board to make an investment decision is naive to say the least.

If you only investment money you are prepared to losing then and upturn is a bonus

£10k inverted here could go to £0 but equally could go the £50k

Losses are limited to what you invest - gains are unlimited - this to many is the draw of the AIM casino and sadly, there are many losers

Clear lack of trust and belief that the board can deliver the growth strategy and generate profit otherwise this would be worth a lot more.

Disconnect between shareholder and company that needs to be improved - maybe a stock box interview or investor presentation my build bridges that have been damaged over the years

Many long term holdings will be happy just to get their investment back. Those who have had the nerve to average down in the past few years are more likely to achieve this.

Totally - been here for over a decade and eventually on the cusp of breaking having averaged down and holding now a ridiculous number of shares

Happy with break even today - washes out some more of those placing shares and brings in new investors / traders with a high base

I believe the issue is with water supply and the cost of putting in place a pipeline from the orange river - now that will bring back memories for long term holders….

Don’t say the interest rate is better - is it not a fixed interest rate of 10% for 6 months making in 20% annualised?

10% fee on top of that is pretty dam expensive - as they say, filling their and their friends pockets first

Wonder if there is a clue that a placing is on the horizon or is it standard wording ?
