This is so overblown and has been discussed and dealt several times over the last couple of weeks.
If and its a HUGE IF the Americans what to play "hardball" with the Russians the Chinese will be queuing up for these commodities, they already control much of the world "rare earths" and would jump at the chance of securing these assets.
Europe and America also import large quantities of oil & gas from Russia, they will not do anything which could jeopardize these supply agreements, especially in the middle of our winter.

I'm a relatively new comer here, (in the last year) but I invested because of the range and diversity of the projects, commodities which are much in demand and prices rising rapidly.
I also like the way PJ conducts himself (updates, RNS's etc) with regard to his company shareholders.
He also currently holds 76 million shares and has invested over £500,000 of his own money.
Paul has history with Metal Tiger and Greatland Gold so has a sound background and plenty of good contacts.
Although Paul has a low average and would make plenty of money even if he sold at today's prices, I still think he is VERY confident of success as he hasn't needed to put that much money in.
As with any investment you need to do your own research but with an MCAP of £20 million even some moderate success should see some growth, and with 14 projects in the pot, with a few looking quite exciting I can't believe they'll all draw a blank. In fact we know the Silver peak project isn't.
Ads with any early(ish) stage explorer it isn't without risk but IMO the current SP is very attractive, I wouldn't invest my "life savings" but it may be worth parking some money which you don't need desperately and seeing what happens.
I have, and will add more when my finances allow.

It's all seriously overblown!
No one in Europe is going to impart oil & gas sanctions on Russia in the middle of winter, and neither will the Americans. (They also import from Russia!)
It's all just "posturing"
In fact I would imagine that although Russia needs the oil & gas revenue Vladimir would have quite a chuckle as he turned off Europe's gas supply for a couple of weeks!

I originally invested a fair sum of money because I could see future growth and a good stream of dividends.
Covid hit many shares hard including this one but despite Lloyds currently not being overly effected the dividend was cut, reintroduced at a reduced level and has still not been returned to 2018/2019 levels.
I am still happy to hold this stock but I was going to add a substantial amount to my investment in 2020 but I redirected it into another sector.
Unless obvious shareholder benefits (dividends!) return to previous levels then I will NOT invest anymore money in LBG.
There is still plenty of scope for SP rise, and buying today SHOULD give you a better return % on future dividends but for me there have been better investment options.

Although I still don't think we'll get a "full" dividend it does pee me off that the BoE still appears to be leaning on the banks to keep it this way.
The worst of Covid seems to be over, Lloyds is awash with cash, if it "CAN" pay a 2018/2019 level dividend it should.

Before Covid we were heading in the right direction but the last couple of years have been rubbish.
We need it sorting out to not only cheer up the existing investors but to encourage new ones.

Never a bad idea to take a bit of profit as long as its got a good home to go to!
We've seen a steady climb recently, and that could well continue with Febs results, but there's always market uncertainty, but it's difficult if not impossible to judge what will happen.
The "doomsters" have been predicting armageddon for years!
Still think this is oversold and there's plenty to come but I'm hoping there not stingy with the dividend!

Not this share, it was seriously oversold due to the cut in dividend and uncertainty over Covid.
This could easily add 10p especially if we get decent results and a boost in divi.

You really do have to much time on your hands, have you ever thought about helping out somewhere doing charity work?
Maybe a part time job in a charity shop?
Got to be more beneficial to society, and yourself than at present?

I'd like to see the dividend payments get back to proper levels first but long term something must be done about the number of shares in issue.
Looking forward to the upcoming results. (Fingers crossed!)

Buybacks and incentive schemes both cost the bank, and therefore shareholders money.
If you don't do buybacks you get dilution from the additional shares issued each year costing shareholders money.
If buybacks are going to work that must be carried out continuously with a greater number than those issued each year.
A progressive dividend policy and a falling shares in issue would stimulate SP growth.
I personally would love to see 20 Billion shares bought back ( over time) and destroyed.
