I've never really "got" crypto.
When I consider investing in a share I look at the fundamentals.
Crypto hasn't got any.
Until governments make it legal tender it was always a joke.
And what government would ever legalise a "currency" with so much volatility.

Historically $6000 per M/T was always considered to be a HIGH price, a ceiling in effect for Copper.
The spot prices are still over $8000 and have traded over $10000.
Long term Copper prices are only going one way and that's upwards as the "green" energy future will demand HUGE levels of Copper.
Electric cars use multiple times more than conventional vehicles and the amount used in wind turbines and the associated cabling is frightening, these being just two examples.

Next quarter will be very interesting, figures will obviously be great, let's see what the media make of it!
As I said earlier I tend to invest for the long term and only sell when targets are met, so hopefully a slight dividend increase will be on the cards, and further buybacks!

Topped up today (but with hindsight after 4pm would have been better!) Just sitting back collecting them divi's!....

Biden is just trying to deflect attention from the mess their economy is in and the way sanctions on Russia have made things worse.
Years of "funny money" is catching up with western societies.
Although the oil price will bounce around I cannot see it falling enough. (Below $100)

I bought at £3.97+something and I couldn't believe that.
It's just people panicking, if you don't NEED to sell just switch off and collect the divi's.
BP is making more than enough to support them!

Unless your heavily in profit and your trying to sell out to preserve that profit I can never understand the sell sell sell mentally, it just makes it worse.
If your brave these are the times to look for those bargains and accumulate.
It can make you a lot of money.

Also "talk" of recession is just that at the moment, talk.
No one knows yet how bad it'll be or what impacts it will have.
I believe oil will stay high for the foreseeable future and IMO even with recession it won't be immediately effected, people still need to get to work, holidays are already booked etc.
£4 seems a good position to buy at but like I said I'm happy to hold even if its for the next 10 or 20 years.

Ignore Barclays guidance, they are always optimistic!
You just need to way up the pros & cons and take into account how long you want to hold.
Recession COULD impact SP but oil is through the roof, debt is falling, buybacks WILL help.
I'm happy to sit back picking up the divi's, the SP will climb in the end!

Remember oil is $120 a barrel, next results should be really good.
I am happy buying at sub £4

Well wasn't planning to, the intention was to hang onto my remaining holding until £5 - £5.50 and sell but sub £4 is crazy considering oil price etc BUT I have just added to the pile.
Just have a few more now whilst I wait for £5+
