There are never any guarantees with the stock market especially when investing in AIM listed companies but the current market conditions are a massive reason why so many investors lose money.
No one likes watching the value of their holdings go down but the market is getting battered, I hold multiple companies over multiple sectors and nearly all of them are down.
Remember why you invested, fundamentally the company hasn't changed and only sell if you have no choice. To many people panic and sell to chase rainbows and lose again and again until their pot is empty.
Again there's no guarantees and you could lose your money but you could also make an awful lot of money when the market changes.
Don't overexpose yourself to any one share, spread risk and spread any top ups if you can afford to and sit tight.
Remember, you have lost NOTHING until you sell.

Difficult question to answer really.
BRICS could be expanding and there's fears (in the west!) of the U.S dollar being replaced as the global benchmark.
America is in decline and is pretty much permanently printing dollars to buoy up its economy.
Russia & China make powerful partners and with South Africa control an awful lot of the world's metal commodities, in particular rare earth's, Rhodium etc.
Interesting future ahead but I've no idea if BP could be effected long term.

The price is ludicrous really, I'm looking forward to 2nd August, there's every chance the figures will be embarrassing good.
Not sure what other investors are looking at ( American investors I mean!) but I just cannot see the oil price collapsing anytime soon,
even with a recession it'll take time to filter through.

You haven't got a clue, I am not trying to defend Putin one bit but the west have pushed him into a situation where he had no choice.
The continued push east of NATO should have stopped years ago, and as for "child murdering" take a look at Syria which the Americans (and us!) bombed the shyte out of it with even conservative estimates indicate 350,000 deaths.

I think your sadly mistaken.
Putin is not the madman the west portrait him as, he is a very shrewd man and be assured Biden hasn't got a clue.
Also don't forget most of Europe is still buying Russian oil & gas!
Putin is playing a game here and the west is in a difficult situation.
We will see but I really don't think we've seen the last of Putin.
