I don't think any rac15t or sectarian chanting at any sporting events is acceptable, you were the one who brought it up about English football earlier, it isn't acceptable when it's heard at Tottenham or Rangers, or for that matter in Spanish or Italian football.
As for supporting the train drivers strike you're a disgrace,
Conductors earning £30-£40,000+, drivers basic around the £60,000 mark and they have REJECTED 10% over 2 years(I belive?)

But if they now stop Buybacks for a few years this opportunity will be wasted.
Hopefully they will announce a continuation of the buyback (and a slight increase of the dividend!)

The problem with buybacks (and BP is not alone in this!) Is that normally they buy a load back then spend the next couple of years re issuing them as part of the pension/bonus benefits.
What needs to happen is they keep buying them back every year at a 2 or 3x the rate of any new issues.
Get the share count from 20 Billion, to 17, to 15, to 13 and so on.
That would then have a proper impact on the SP!

Not that I know of,
But normally the big miners and insurance companies are some of the best payers.
I hold BHP Group and have done for many years and they are yielding well over 10%.
I was fortunate enough to buy a good slice at sub £7 so I'm probably getting somewhere between 30-40% yield on those now!

I agree with much of what's been said, I agree with Brixton that 45p and below there a good buy, but I also agree with Gazzleberry's comment!
I think it's worth buying but,
1. DON'T go all in!
2. Don't expect fireworks!
3. You have to be prepared for a long term hold!
