Some of the books on spreading risk are in my opinion rubbish, I've read somewhere of not exceeding 5% on any one share as a percentage of your portfolio.
This is spreading yourself to thinly IMO.
AIM is about a bit more risk but the potential for much greater reward, there's lots of things I could say like concentrate on a "handful" of companies but at the end of the day it's up to the individual investor.
The other point is that this money will be needed for a house purchase next year, it is so dangerous having almost everything tied up in one company when you have time constraints like that.
It's just to me 90% seems very high, history is littered with people who have done similar, yes some came out rich, but many more ended in tears.
I say again, 100% confident we'll make money here but I'll leave it at that.
