cants ee any news otehr than HRG has launched a new tool for SMEs, so either something is brewing and it is being leaked out or it is simply rising on the strength of the recovery. This month will be decisive for how business travel will run the next 4 or 5 months and theindictaions are that things are pickingup slowly and surely and the way that HRG has streamlined tehir cost any pick up in revenue should have immedaite effects on bottom line. Will keep looking for any statements or tarde rumours, but a very pleasnat increase since yesterday and it looks like it will now hole over 30 and start moving towards 40 and 50 in due course.

agian some big buys , one would have thjought we must be getting close to a RNS from one of the main owners that they are getting to 29 % and making a bid or a management buyut with DNATA. If I was buyingthis company this would be exactly the right time. Prices are depressed inthe TMC world but business has a good chance of pciking up in the next 6 months and if it does this price willbe laugahble cheap. a few big buys going through without any hint of news. we should keep a very close eye. All thenumbers we are seeing from the industry are indicating that we are off thebottom, is this the time for BCD topounce while theprice is still quite low but theoutlook quite good?

very llttle on here lately, but the news from theboggest business travel show in the world NBTA is quite clear that we are of the bottom on business travel. The last 3 months for the industry has been better than similar months last year at least in the uS an dthis year airlines were all on expected improvemnt s in busness =over coming months. We should begin to hear better news from the uk market soon as well.

hadnt looked recently so just ahd a quick loook , could only find one opinion and that was form Collins Stewart on August 3rd settinga price target at 51 and postinga strong buy. I think that is very fair and without considereing possible takeovers which in my view should be considered. Although I don't always trust or follow brokers nice to see that somebody who has taken the time to study the share and themarket ahs come to same result as me, taht this share is still very much undervalued on fundamentals. With results holding steady over last few eyars no reason why the share should drop from 90 to 27. With the cost cuttings in place you watch profits fly in 2010 when market comes back and dividends shoudl begin to flow as well. Personally I doubt it will still be on tehmarket at that time as I think there willbe a buyour before that but if I can bag anywhere between 60 and 80 pence for that I will be a very happy bunny

Extremely quiet on this forum but luckily teh share is not keep ing still at all . After a long time circling the 24 and a little dip down at results time we are moving upwards now without really any reason, at least no reason officially given. Maybe this is becoming a mainstream share and actually moving up in line with better indecations coming from the rest of the industry. September will be a crucial month for the industry and we will hopefully see corporate travel beginning to return from tehbottom it has been bouncing along for some time

In relation to HRg asking staff to take sabbatical or cuts, just saw this: According to CEO David Radcliffe, "a number of staff have already responded positively to this program." HRG's board of directors, including the chairman and CEO, agreed to a 5 percent pay cut, effective 1 September 2009.

agree 100% and it would be great tosee the recovery coming now before HRG's busy season. the key months of the year are sep,oct, nov, so everybody is keeping a close eye on September. the latest figures from US show that bookings have bottomed and beginning to slowly move up

We are now nearly 10% up this week and back at 24 where we have been for soem time, but i notice the activity seem to be picking up. Lots of share t/o the last few days and I am keepinga very close eye on that. With most shares (about 90%) owened by 2 lareg investors as well as other IIs and management and some quite big investors on this site tehre are no that many shares in general circualtion so an increase in share activity could indicate a move by one of the 2 biggies. With the general posiitivity in teh market place and the feeling taht the recession is nearing the end this could ab a very good time for a takeover or management buyout move. I can't wait to cash these babies in for anything between 50 and 80, but of course this is just my psecualtion and could be tomorrow but could also be half a year away.

very interesting to see that thre are people ready to buy as soon as we see a drop and we are moving back up again. This is a very good sign for the future. Just hope that some of the buyers will be bCD or DNATA so we can get some action on the takeover front. How long can a company like HRG live with having one of it's fiercest competitors and enemies owning over 20% of it's shares. i am sure something has to give and eitehr the mangement or BCD might simply be waiting for the trade to turn upwards before a decision is made on the future ownership. It just can't continue the stalemate. That is why I am holding and will hold till a decision is taken and we willget somewhere between 50 and 80 for our shares

have no idea what caused teh sudden drop, I know the papers had bad headliens but the reports were fine and it didn't drop this morning and very thin trade so really not easy to understand. Hope the MMs dont start playing games with this but with results expected to be in line with expectation the market cap is around 1/2 the value of what it should be worth so I am very relaxed

Interesting how the price dropped when people read the fist line and it is now coming back whne people have read and absorbed the full statement, some people were very quick to see a buying opportunity. Nice to hear from other people in the industry who can appreciate how well these guys are doing

Yes, very much as expected, have been stressing that things have been difficult in corportae travel but at a time where revenue for may TMCs are down 20-30 % they are only down 7% with a lower cost structure and importantly without currency adjustments which made up 6% last year and should continue to do so with the cheaper pound. New clients are coming in wella nd forcast for the year still in line with expectations which would be a t least the same as last year which stillmake these shares heavily undervalued. As usual no word about the 2 companies who have bought over 20% of HRG,something has to give, let's see if anyone dare ask the question at the AGM

absolutely some nice moves today and even though I follow them closely I am more petient than most on the forums. Did you get into VGM who showed good rise yesterday an more to come, I think. Inch and SOLG 2 good ones today. INCH was ridiculously undervalued a month or so ago. Made great money on that one and PDG but letting them all ride, still very cheap

I will keep an eye out for you at next years open, good money in that as well if you do well enough. All in all 2009 has been afanatstic year but I did take some bad hits 1st half last year. went in too early in some stocks and lost out on some that didnt survive but am now ell in plus and taken some great profits. Only done this for the last 3 years so still learning but I think a lot of my stocks will now provide well for me for years to come and still leave about 10% to satisfy my gambling heart.
