The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Fair enough, Neversellshell.
I'm cautiously optimistic about the near future despite the risks.
Have a good weekend.
At the risk of sounding like a de-ramper, I'm struggling to see how you can make that statement based on the changes to SP and dividend over the last 6-12 months. I do agree that, based on the recent RNS, the future does sound a little brighter. I just hope future events: further turmoil in the oil & gas sector, US Presidential elections, covid etc don't royally bugger the plan up.
The interim dividend was a welcome piece of news.
Agree about the yield, particularly when compared to many in the FTSE over the last 12 months.
That's actually not a bad idea - pre-recording. He's a bit monotone as well. In his defence, not everyone is a natural when it comes to communications skills, but huge credit to him for what ODX have achieved with him at the reins.
Sorry all. I should've made my post clearer. Thanks for clearing up 1st Timer and Shakeyerbooty.
From the presentation: Expecting October 2020 sales to be up 20%
Emma/Londonlife. I may have missed something but you often respond in your posts as 'we', yet you sign off as 'Emma'. Could you explain to help my confusion, please?
Thanks for sharing, VanVan.
All sounds very upbeat and positive.
True, but we get at least equal amounts of blue and to the moon predictions from armchair experts, often based on nothing.
^^ 'for' the business.
I'm torn: on the one hand a generous special dividend would be wonderful. However, cash is king, and as we enter yet more uncertainty with a second global wave of covid, keeping hold of the cash or the business makes sense. How about delay the decision for 6 months then decide?
No it isn't the board's culture. A few people occasionally typed in full caps in the text as you are doing now. You and others pulled them up for it and rightly so. This practice is considered shouting; ergo rude - so you are deliberately being rude.
You got a bee in your bonnet over people typing the 'titles' in full caps, which you obviously considered rude, but I even gave you examples of the UK's Public Sector whereby this was standard practice.
You're intelligent so surely you see the difference?!? You make valuable contributions to this board for which I and no doubt many others are grateful. I ask politely that you revert to type (pun intended) and quit sulking.
A4UK - clearly I hit a nerve with what was a tongue-in-cheek attempt at humour. Apologies if this has been taken the wrong way. I don't recall lecturing you about caps lock; however, can I suggest you stop typing in all caps as there may be a chance you get another ban for being rude/shouting? You have clearly stated you are doing it deliberately, so you have no defence if someone were to report you. You appeared to get upset over people typing thread titles in capitals which I believe is considered ok (generally). However, in the main body is a different matter. Surely you can see the difference?!?
Apologies anujsharma2807 for 'allah4uk's' messages.
We keep telling him that using caps lock is considered shouting and therefore rude, but he just doesn't listen and carries on shouting.
All the best with your investment.
Is this a cryptic clue? What about the Sunday Times?
